Oh my goodness, the melody line on the climax part is perfect. It stands out loud, clear, and bright enough to blend with the whole roaring choir. Bravo!

This chant was once banned by the papacy to be published and be heard outside the monastery by ordinary citizens because of the songs sacredness and only the monks inside those monasteries are allowed to chant/sing the lyrics. Mozart was the reason why we know this chant now because of his unique ability to remember and capture the exact note because of his "perfect pitch" when he once visited the Vatican City.
