Hi Sandra! I loved outfit 7 with the silk skirt and top to create the illusion of a slip dress. I struggle to find a slip dress that fits properly. I was in Lisbon a week ago! I am from the US and traveled to Italy. My flight back on TAP has a stop in Lisbon so I was only there 4 hours. I plan to travel to Portugal someday. It looks like such a beautiful country :)

I suffer a lot from summer heat and getting dressed is all about staying cool. I only wear linen, it helps a lot, but it’s also hot work ironing it. I do it in the early morning when it’s coolest. Thanks, Sandra

Hi Sandra. Everything you showed in this video are great ideas however why dont you speak portuguese ? It would benefit many many portuguese women who dont know how to Style an outfit and dont understand english. Also the way you speak is very monotone and with no emotions. It sounds like you are reading a book. For me its ok ...i can handle it but .... please dont take this the wrong way. Its just an opinion. E porque não juntar legendas em Português? Its a win win. Olá Cristina! Obrigada pelo feedback, é sempre bom ouvir uma opinião por forma a melhorar o nosso trabalho. A decisão de fazer o canal em Inglês foi muito bem ponderada. A verdade é que eu queria muito fazer um canal de moda para mulheres portuguesas da minha geração visto existir muito pouco cá. De facto, os meus primeiros 3-4 videos foram em português mas, tiveram muito pouco "impacto". Inclusivamente, publiquei o mesmo video em inglês e as visualizações mais do que quintuplicaram! Em relação às legendas, elas estão disponíveis para quem quiser. Só tem de aceder às definições/legendas, ativar as legendas e escolher o idioma. Pela minha análise cerca de 10% das pessoas vê os meus videos com legendas em português, francês e espanhol.

I hate Spandex (Elastane), too. I just got two Ralph Lauren “cotton knit” dresses in my usual Medium size, but they are so unflattering. They make me look much rounder and thicker than I am because they squeeze my flesh and pull into horizontal creases across my body. I should have been more careful, when I checked the label, I saw that the fabric contains an incredible 9% Spandex! Even 1% ruins clothes for me, for one thing, it means they won’t iron properly and the seams will always pucker. Woven fabrics with Spandex in them will just never look good. It’s getting more and more difficult to find Spandex-free clothing, brands love them because they’re cheaper than, say, 100% cotton. Thanks for this summer essentials video, Sandra🙂
I totally agree and I indeed have returned my Sezane Pippa dress as it made me wider than I really am. I just found this 100% cotton from Massimo Dutti and I think it's way more flattering on my body. Not to mention is cheaper and better quality. Thanks for all the support.
What a lovely video Sandra. I've recently received so many of H&M's linen pieces and l I ove them all. I did get the navy and cream striped shirt you showed and love it.
