I love white trousers, I think they’re so much more chic, and so much less predictable, than black or other dark ones. I love true white, but often have to settle for off-white in the silk and wool fabrics I love best, these “protein” fibers can’t be chlorine-bleached. I love my white silk ones from Lily Silk, they are quite close to true white and have some back-elastic in the waistband, perfect. White goes with everything, black doesn’t really go with anything except white and tan/camel. Black kills any color it’s adjacent to and always looks heavy and, often, dreary, especially in the SS season. It’s also very unflattering on most women and I think it can be a bit of a copout. White bottoms forever! I love white skirts and shorts, too.
Yes, most of my trousers are also off white. White in all its shades and hues really goes with everything and I agree with you, black kills any lighter color, white is much more versatile.Thank you so much for all your support! ❤️
