I really am sorry but I just do not "get" how you work! Surely the flowers or petals should be proud and the background lower, not as you work with the Flowers/petals being hammered!

Thank you so much for this detailed video! Wow! I have a question: Do you remove the glue gun leftovers before you plane it? Or the planer does the work? Thanks 😊

Truly amazing. Thinking outside the box and showing the old heads how old they really are! I have a few questions hopefully you have a minute to answer them. I watched this a few times and even took notes. The stencil for the holes/tears, where did you get it or did you just draw it yourself? Also, the B822 stamp...Are you sure about that number? I looked all over for it and the only thing I found was a vintage/discontinued stamp that is quite different from the one you have. I was unable to find anything at all for the 888-2 stamp either, would the A102 be an acceptable substitute? What stamp did you use for the texture in the open areas? Looks like a pebble backgrounder of some sort but I'm not sure.

After watching these videos I feel like getting back into leather work. I made quite a few knife sheets and I also made the blades. I only made about five holsters. The holsters then I made did not look as good as this man's. I love videos like this.

As a novice at leatherwork i have to say that I'm thrilled to have stumbled on to this video! I only hope to be this good one day. For now i will probably watch this several more times to glean every bit of info possible from it. I am hopeful to make a similar sheath for my brother as my next project and this is my inspiration to do that!! ❤❤❤

Beautiful man. Can you list the stanmping tools (bevelers and shaders) used with this build. Aslo, what was the yello liquid you used toward the end in the small jar.

Great work. Beautiful piece of craftsmanship. Is there anywhere that I can buy that style stud that you made? I don't have a lathe, and I can only find button studs.

It's the middle of June with a heatwave we've endured all week, but watching Christmas ornaments being turned like this was very relaxing to watch and inspiring also. Sharing this with my wife who is the wood turner, while I prefer cutting boards, and other stuff that uses other woodworking tools. I know she will LOVE this too.

I don't know I will ever become as skilled as you. But this looks like such satisfying work! I think I'm going to start with a sheath for my cold steel shovel. Lots of room for designs. Thankyou for this awesome video and most of all thank you for this inspiration!

To say the least, you are a true craftsman! I did not see you make the knife but it is beautiful. Though your leather work is AMAZING! The artwork is unmatched by anyone I have seen. What a joy just to watch you work.

A most excellent video! I really like the idea of making my own specialty tools from older tools that I either have a surplus of or have outlived their original intended purpose. Plus, it gives me an excuse to rev-up my wood lathe.

How do you drill the pin hole after heat treat? I do the wood working part with traditional hand tools, planes, scrapers, sandpaper but a similar process. I just prefer the feel of doing it that way, but I'm a hobbyist, not selling, not in a hurry.
