Just wanted to say thank you for this video! I got my storage box ordered in for $59 and got it installed today. All thanks to your video. So thank you very much.
I just purchased a 2024 570 FS. Very happy with it for working in it. Your part one video and your 10,000 mile video was very very good to help me know what to look for. So far my only gripe has been shifting it into Park is never smooth. But overall, I am still very, very happy with this unit after I got it set up and accessorized for everything I needed to work in it. Thank you for making your videos . They're five years old but still relevant today since the 570 has not changed.
I just knocked the pin out, removed the bumper/ brush gard, four bolt on front diff and slid it out the front. Also used an air chisel with 5/16 punch bit.
Have a 2019 ranger xp 1000 same thing 2 years after we bought it boot looked the same dry rot. should be class action lawsuit. the money they cost sucks
Great info but am disgusted by your comments about supporting a 6 year old being a slave basicly instead of respecting your fellow American citizen. Sad.
I’m doing the same funny came across this. Drilled a small hole and drill to it so it ended in a radius maybe keep from cracking. How did this go for you over the last year?
Agree. I still have a 4630, 4430, 4030 and 2510. Newer ones have come and gone and what a sting. But at the end, you was talking about the epa regs and the 49 states. Jd does make tractors with no emissions crap on them and they all go over seas. Testimony to how much they are behind the green earth crowd. Nice tractors you have there. A testament to the great men who built them.
Enjoyed your video but maybe you should stay away from politics. Taiwan is NOT communist. In fact the CCT in mainland China wants to take over Taiwan and bring it under Communist control.
Do you think that squeezing the shaft like that helped or is it not worth the trouble?? I am either fixing to have to spend $400 on a new shaft when my old one is perfectly fine other than that wiggle from it being loose. If this would take care of the issue, I’d pull it all out just to try that cutting method.
I know this is an old video bit it was nice to know that someone else has struggles with these cv shafts out. Thought I was doing something wrong. Like vehicles most stay lubricant by the oil in the transmission or differential. Ive done my far share of these in various ATVs UTVs etc but this, a 2013 Ranger was kicking my caboose! But once I got one out I saw why they are difficult. They are in a blind hole. I used Kroil on the second one and let it soak for 30 minutes then took a wedge and a few good hits it popped out. Cleaned the splines in the differential and put a thick coating of anti-seize on the new cv shafts for future repairs.

I got a question I have a 7520 I drained all my hydraulic fluid out of my transmission a fwd case do you have to fill that case separately or will it fill when you fill the transmission? The reason I ask is after I drained and swapped oil I don’t have fwd.
Ohhh… dreaming about this one, here in Poland. But, well, the winter time we get like -15/20 degrees (in the south) so I can’t imagine the daily procedure starting this guy up. Best wishes bro 😎
yeah they were pretty tough. we have a 4230 that we are using on the bale processor because the other tractor broke down and it is also our main loader on this farm. It is a tough tractor that has been abused pushing and loading manure with a grapple fork. We used it to haul bales and run a baler those tractors have a good attitude and are willing to do anything you ask them to. the hour clock is about 80 hours away from resetting to 0.
Good video! Thank you... my clutch stuck today and it was refurbished last year. I was wondering if you had any idea what the problem was. I gave it 2 or 3 blows with the rubber hammer and it came back OK. It happened after heavy braking. Polaris Switchback 2012
Easier way to access the roll pin up front is from the passenger side wheel well, remove wheel, and lower a arm, turn prop shaft to position the pin sideways and drive it out from the side instead from underneath of vehicle.
Hello there, could I use a fragment of your video for my coldstarting compilation? Of course I will put a link to your original video in the description, increasing the original’s popularity too. Thanks a lot for you answer in advance :)
This is by far the best video for the 2018 Polaris 500. Other videos on RU-vid are not for the 2018 and was very confusing. Polaris should use this video in the manual.
