The river is a great water source on decent Winters. we have a really nice Bend here where they can water, but when the river is up and down and ice starts getting so thick when it's cold, it becomes a real pain. Putting more cows down here on the river this winter, so having more water is going to be a higher priority
Those 7610's transmission oil tends to get water in them, (from the top, thru gear shift boot) if they are out side much in the rain. Just got done changing gear lube (again) in mine. (It sat outside this summer) Mine went to missing just before I put it away too, I think it is fuel filters again. ( changed them when I got the machine, probably need to again.)
Yep, let mine sit outside for two months, checked the trans oil and full of water. Changed it and have kept it indoors when I'm not using it till I can replace the boot. Had to change the seal on the right angle drive as well. Sucky job. My machine runs ok, but the others I've borrowed all smoked more than mine, don't know if I have a restriction somewhere or what. Fuel filters are new.
