When I was short of time I tried to create supersets from the exercises available to move through it quickly. It really helped. I finished a workout in 45 minutes once.
All I gained from years of using social media was trauma bad friends toxic relationships unrealistic life trying to seem cool be liked by others and get their validation i can’t explain how many bad people I have attracted through social media even a stalker it’s more than just quitting it for me since it was a big part of my existence and caused me a lot of depression and anxiety only RU-vid and painters is my safe zone and all the benefits I got through my whole life using a smartphone and I am grateful for all suffering and experience I have gone through that’s what made me who I am and how I think like that today that completely shifted in mindset 💚🫂
I remember 2008 I started riding bike more amateur way, and I joined Strava community. I had Facebook at the time, but I wasn´t so attached to it...yet. Then appetites have grown and I started visiting social media several times a day. You feel that is ruining you inside but it is like chocolate, you just can´t quit it. Few years ago I deleted FB for good, I tried the same with IG but no success. But I felt really happier when I was off all media for a month. I really recommend, quite refreshing.
I use social media since 1997 with mIRC, and with every other platform after until now: ICQ, messenger, facebook, twitter, etc. Since facebook buying IG, I noticed the extreme agressive advertising system Meta installed: today you are bombed with content you didn't ask for, if you follow an account, their content is not shown, it censors a lot and of course the content you publish is not being seen by your followers. I quit facebook 4 years ago after 13 years using it, I quit Twitter last year after 14, and a few weeks ago I quit Instagram after 12. My god, that's a long long time living with those platforms. I never used Tik Tok by the way, I never liked it. I'm giving a chance to Threads nowadays, but I'm looking for a healthier platform to socialize and getting info. I just love RU-vid, but I think that's not entirely a "social media" platform. Thank you for your testimony, cheers from Chile.
I agree, instagram used to be good... once tiktok came out, basically facebook, snapchat and insta all copied that and went with the 20 second video route... instagram became garbage then.

Would discord count as social media? I spend a lot of time online, and I know I need to cut back, but discord is how I stay in contact with many of my friends, both IRL who have since moved, and online
Hey! I wouldn’t get too bogged down in definitions here - if you feel a platform taking away from your life, rather than adding to it, perhaps it’s time to take a break. Personally, I spend a lot of time here on YT but it doesn’t bother me because it mostly adds to my life, rather than takes away. Hope you find a happy medium ☺️
No but a Dell XPS 15 fits at a squeeze inside the laptop compartment and better outside of the laptop compartment in the main section of the bag. By squeeze I mean that it sits higher up than it should and you need to think about it more when zipping. But I dont have to stretch the zip or anything. I dont actually carry the laptop in it, I carry a smaller device but I would be happy to carry the XPS 15 in this when I do need to move it around.
i always wonder what Marshall McLuhan would have to say about the various new media platforms we have these days. he was from the TV era and basically predicted the coming of the internet, man his mind would be blown by how crazy technology and media has gotten
I love your candid video. So happy that you were able to get rid of your social anxiety completely, I think that's awesome! I think social media does take up a lot of our time. I see it a lot in my clients who are struggling with school because they spend so much time on their phones. I personally stopped using Instagram in the past week and have noticed that I have so much more time to do my actual work that I previously thought I had no time to do and now I realize that sometimes I would just spend 1-2 hours on my phone when I had free time and those were the hours I could have used to catch up on paperwork. Now I feel like I am actually getting things done and it feels really liberating.

I started a digital marketing agency, an online magazine about finance, also had 2 internships at big business corporations and i did speed ice skating for 6 years. Do you think these extracurriculars are enough to be listed for NYU?
glad to hear i'm not the only one who struggles with the algorithm. i'm an artist and i will occasionally post my art on instagram, but it always gets so little response that it makes me so sad :') and then i see my peers getting lots of likes and comments and it makes me wonder if my art just isn't as good. i wish instagram would go back to how it was before, it was so much more fun posting your art back then because people actually saw it!!
It's definitely not your art, it's the algorithm. It is set up so that you are constantly posting on there and if you don't then it feels like you are being penalized because it almost doesn't share your content with anyone. I have a business account that is mostly mental health related (that's my field) and I just don't have time to be on it every single day posting. So when I do make a post, it mostly just gets around 10 likes (sometimes not even from my actual 'friends' who also follow me on there). However, I have seen accounts from other people in my field - one in particular - that her posts are always her dancing around or doing silly stuff and she has thousands of followers and gets tons of likes and comments, so it does make me feel like maybe I'm not engaging enough. But I also refuse to be dancing around on Instagram just for engagement when I am a professional trying to put out informational content out there to promote my practice. I get you 100%!
I quit social media and I feel worse, I feel completely alone. I have zero interactions now and it's like I really don't matter anymore. Nobody misses me. Oh well. Glad it was a positive experience for you. It doesn't work out well for everyone.
Ask your self this do you even know any of the people you interacted with on social media or were you just using it to fill a void. You said you feel alone well that’s now up to you to go out and make some friends get a hobby learn a new skill. You’ll meet people that share the same things and you won’t feel alone anymore. All social media is doing is giving you a sense of friends and interaction but no one on there cares about you it’s way more fulfilling when somone wants to catch a game with you or wants to spend time with you. This is why family is important spend more time with your family.

One thing that annoys me is how I could easily access either phone or shades but not both. Putting that key fob there rather limits what you can put in that pocket, and it’s a letdown of nearly all bellroy bags.
I don’t disagree - think adding a pocket and making the key ribbon an elastic would be a massive improvement to the front of the bag. That being said, I find the balance of all elements in this bag quite good
@@maggenlove yeah and I forgot to say that it was a great review. I’d been thinking I need to go to 20L even though it’d look ridiculous on me, but you’ve shown how much the 14L really holds! Also other reviews lament the waterproofing of that top zipper but you showed that in rain it works fine!
The scholarship can only be changed if the parents’ financial situation improves dramatically, to my knowledge. Things have changed a lot though since I graduated
