Hello everyone! Hope that you are well. These are random things that are of interest to me like Drones, Motorcycles, DIY’s and Tech in some form or fashion and I would like to share, hope you enjoy!
Hi mate I have plugged the battery in the wrong way I did now the controller will not switch on have you any ideas what I can do? Cheers Gary I have the plus
@@ohare100 if you plugged the battery in reverse it’s possible you could’ve fried the controller board. These boards are not high end PCB boards with reverse polarity or current charge protection. Unfortunately, I don’t have the Plus mine was the original UPair One, so I don’t know too much about that controller board. The only thing I could suggest is to search eBay either for the controller or the controller board itself. This might be your only option to fix the issue. Hope this information helps.
@@ohare100 As I mentioned I'm not familiar with the PCB Boards with the Plus model, however if its the same model and the only difference is the fact that one does not have the screen then it should work. The only difference that you will notice is that on the PCB Board the connection for the screen will not be used or not present on the board without the screen capabilities. Hope this works out for you.
I'm sorry my friend but you doing it wrong ,from your video I can clearly see your da isn't even spinning maybe you putting to much pressure ,,,ask someone that knows how to use it for directions ...that's what I did
Thank you for watching and sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately, the red brake light runs only on a battery. The front light is chargeable. Hope this helps..
cheese, the heat in Texas is Brutal? Ja,ja,ja,ja,ja, have you ever been in Phoenix Arizona or Las Vegas NV? ja,ja,ja,ja. I don't know man, but mine is 2012 and is still OEM looking brand new. ---- What is a rubber hammer for? use a rubber hammer to push it down.
@@HeydaCarreras Thanks for watching. Actually I have passed through Arizona and yes it’s much hotter than Texas, glad to hear your 2012 is running like new. Any car that is truly taken care of will last a long time and look like new, it’s just that not to many people do this unfortunately. Stay safe and sound. 👍🏽✌🏽
@@JohnnyCroft-r9j Thanks for watching, the tape did hold up well to my surprise in this Texas heat, but I did upgrade my fog lights after a while on another video. I started to wonder the same as you “Will it hold after several years”? So that’s when I decided to upgrade as a precaution. Hope this helps stay safe and sound. 👍🏽✌🏽
@@ohare100 thanks for watching unfortunately I’m in the same vote. I still have my unit and unfortunately the battery still holding a charge but I’ve noticed lately it’s been depleting. My guess would be your only options would be eBay or in my case I’m planning to probably try to come up with a battery mod to compensate for this battery that’s probably no longer being manufactured unfortunately. Hope this helps.👍🏽✌🏽
I know this is an older video but it was extremely helpful. I’m still rocking my old 2016 UpAir one from 2016 & about to do this modification upgrade. Very helpful video, thank you. 😌🤘🏻
@@Atheist81 I’m glad it was helpful, I still have this drone and works great. My only concern is batteries are hard to come by so I might have to find a new battery modification in case I need to replace the battery in the near future. This was my very first drone and I plan on staying with it for as long as I can. Happy drone flights! Stay safe and sound.👍🏽✌🏽
@@solisapaul agree, I have 3 batteries & only 1 works still. Going to have to find a mod for this soon as well. They are definitely hard to come by. If you ever put out a battery mod I’ll be checking it out for sure lol.
I would say that if it’s the same exact sound as well as the vibration on the steering wheel, it’s possible that the coupler was either of not good quality or not aligned properly. Unfortunately, the only way to know this would be,you would have to inspect the coupler that you just installed and make sure it’s still seated properly or did not crumble, not all couplers material is made with good quality material. Truly hope this information helps.👍🏽✌🏽
11:43 looks like sanding marks from too coarse sandpaper being used on the panel before painting. The paint shrinks back into the rough sanding marks. The way around this is sand the rougher scratches out with a finer grade sandpaper. I.e that may be 180/240g, use 320/400 over the top
@@vaglazdimvaglazdim5330 I would honestly have it changed as soon as possible as I mentioned it’s not very expensive. The part itself is only around 4 to 5 dollars. If anything it’s just time-consuming at 600 miles and it is a must that you must drive the vehicle without getting it fixed, I would say travel no more than 50 mph for it seems that at 65 and above the string becomes unstable. I truly hope you can get this fixed as soon as possible. Stay safe and sound.👍🏽✌🏽
On the sides are 2 grooves. I didn't have a coin in reach but I had a flat screw driver to pop it open. I did one side and then the other, and it popped it open.

As far as I know, it doesn’t have to stay on do keep in mind. These don’t hold a very long charge on a full charge. I think the last time I tested It only stayed on for about 15 minutes. To have constant power. it keeps its power from the cigarette lighter in your vehicle. Hope this information helps stay safe and sound and thanks for watching.👍🏽✌🏽
@casp72 don't know if this will reach you or not. Just purchased a 2013 Kia Soul but mine is different from yours. I want to change the look of mine and intend to follow some of your examples. Perhaps you know why at least two body "style" same vehicle same year
Thank you!!! This is literally my car lol. I recently went to the dealership and they told me it would be $700+ just for that. Definitely doing this myself or getting help from my uncle 🤣
@@solisapaul *Update* I finally got this issue fixed! It was a little bit more to disconnect since I have the exclaim model. One of the screws where the coupling is found was different than the others. The hardest part was that 14mm bolt, but I thank you for going back and showing exactly where it was. It took about 1.5 - 2 hours to finish and helpful that it was me and my uncle doing it together. 😊
@@TheAwkwardbutCutePotato So glad it all worked out , what’s more awesome is knowing that you did this together with the family member. Great job both of you! Stay safe and sound. 👍🏽✌🏽
Thanks for sharing the video on the Kia Soul A Pillar Molding replacement. I had to replace my 2010 a couple of years back when it blew off the car while I was driving it. When the first one fell off, I saw the drivers side didn't have long to go either - so I ordered both at the same time, got a good deal on Amazon and they went on good. I really like your Kia's Geodesic pattern - looks really sharp. I hope you got your passenger side fixed - thanks again for the video.
Thanks for watching. I gave the rims about a full day to really cure even though the rust oleum 2X paint dries to touch in about an hour. Hope this helps always enjoy your DIY projects. Stay safe and sound.👍🏽✌🏽
Thanks a lot, I just purchased mine. i am wondering which part is holding the most weight. Does it rest mostly on the top hooks? I am still a bit scared taking it on the highway
To me, it appears that the way it was built it evenly distributes the weight, but if I did have to honestly guess I would say the bottom portion is what holds most of the weight the top of the bike rack only keeps it stabilized as far as being in an upward position, but the majority of the weight is concentrated on the bottom portion. I hope this helps and thanks for watching. Stay safe and sound..ride safe.✌🏽👍🏽 🚴
Hello. I bought one of these for my iPhone 11 at Best Buy. Worst design ever. Anytime, and every time, that I dropped my iPhone 11 it became a spectacle. The magnets should be called magnats. They are so tiny that the case cannot withstand normal impact drops. When that happens, the case goes one way for the bottom portion and the top portion goes the other way and people think you’ve just broken your iPhone and so they’re all concerned for you and you have to wind up telling them no no just a stupid case it came apart. I threw the case away, maybe after three months, but I think it was way shorter than that .
Thanks for watching the actual paint and finish has held up just fine. That’s after several washes rain and brake dust and debris from road. My only gripe is that I wish I would’ve sanded them a little bit more smoother to give them more of a flat finish. Aside from that they still look great. Preparation is key as long as you prep the surface thoroughly and properly meaning a good sanding a good cleaning and no oily residue you will be perfect, that’s my opinion. Stay safe and sound.👍🏼
You don't have to disconnect that at 12:39, that is part of the box under, and you don't know what that is. WOW. -- I just did this on my Kia soul 2012 and I removed the seat. LISTEN guys: Remove the seat and you will thank me 10 times. It's only 4 bolts and two connectors. I remove all wires and even the little metal box under the column the one you can see at 9:49. then you can remove the back 14 mm bolt easy. I took down the column and the electric motor was in front of me. Nothing bended or broke, and no code or engine light. Car is perfect. The coupler was intact but feel spongy, so I install a new one.
Thanks for watching it all depends on what the finish looks like prior to sanding, if it’s just in need of a new clearcoat due to the fact that the old one is either peeling or faded you will need a smooth out all the rough areas followed with primer and then you’re finish and follow with the clearcoat if you’ve got rust, you will need to sand it down to the metal and prime, paint and clear coat; if your car looks anything like mine where the finish was in perfect condition you just wanted a different color then all it requires is a very light sanding like in my video, followed with a paint and clearcoat or all in one like I used, hope this information helps. Thanks stay safe and sound.👍🏽✌🏽
