The only thing you can watch on the screen is crappy ifit and still images from Google maps. You will be disappointed and it will cost you $250return shipping+10%restocking fee, and an additional 10%fee if they claim you damaged it. Ifit is watching the back of some guy running while having limited control of the pace, stupid, no one wants that, and with nordictrack it's either that or still pictures of Google street view. 💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩 My sincere apologies to this content creator, this is a great video, it was that one I watch when considering a Nordictrack.
Can we get a full point to point comparison between the Bella bar, Fringe Sport 15kg Wonder bar and Rep Fitness Colorado 15kg bar? Also interested in any other comparable 15kg bars from other brands. (Maybe Rep's Black Canyon 15kg bar also). A full on 10 barbell comparison like Coop did but with the female lifter in mind would be great -> I'm looking to replace my wife's old cheapo bar with something much nicer to train with.
I haven't used that one yet, so I can't say. However I did think this titan one was good minus wanting the ability to get more depth out of some movements. - Linds
I bought a treadmill and this bike from Nordic track. 3 years later they are both broken and collecting dust. Nordic track wont help. Absolute trash, anyone says differently is lying to you.
Nordic track makes and sells garbage. They will not help you when their garbage breaks in you, which it will. Do not buy anything nordic track. I have a broken bike and treadmill from them and wish id bought any other brand
these treadmills are on the market for so many years, why don't they tell us about the history of their problems reliability, or on the contrary, of their great reliability, of the quality control of the company, of how the company handles problematic situations with their customers. You don’t just buy a treadmill, but guarantees too, parts and problems. I had a Nordictrack 2450 for 10 years and it made super irritating noises for 10 years. According to the web, it's the cadillac of treadmills, while the treadmill mainly frustrated me for 10 years.
I want to get the 2450 but I’ve read so many horror stories about nordictrack service and support. Is this still the case? And would you know given that your experience may be different because you’re a reviewer and Nordictrack will be more inclined to be very responsive to you.
It is noisy, but not anything crazy. There are some treadmills that I would say if you are running at higher speeds be aware of the noise level, however this isn't one of them. - Linds
OHHH NOOOO! Do you think I could grate cheese with my voice? I need to try it, might be a hidden talent I didn't even know I had! Thanks for the suggestion! - Linds
I know this would be an estimate but I’m 6’ 3” would this machine work with my height?.. Not crazy tall but I’ve been burned with budget friendly machines in the past but I’ve reached an age where a stair climber would probably be better for knees, back, joints etc.
I don't see height being an issue with this machine, the only two things I would warn against would be ceiling height and you might need to bend over more if you want to grab onto the handlebar! - Linds
I was hoping to hear the Echelon-6 in operation to see how much noise it made. Next time, it would be nice if you would cut the music and focus on the sound of the treadmill in operation.
I still have the f63 in my garage, mainly because it's great and I'm too lazy to trade it out for a new model when the one I have is working great! - Linds
I love a cold ice bath hydrotherapy session after my weekly long endurance runs. This is one cold tub I would actually consider. Currently I have 100 gallon rubbermaid stock tank from Tractor Supply that’s normally used as horse trough but also works great as an ice bath. I fill it with 240 lbs of ice ($64.5) and it gets down to ~33⁰ F which is exactly what my tired legs need after running 16-20 miles to bring down the swelling and soreness. I do three 3 minute sessions for 9 minutes total. Might not sound like a lot but it really helps as I’m not hobbling around afterwards. The price is a bit steep, it would take three+ years to pay for itself. Commercial grade ice makers go on sale at or below $1,000 at times. Wondering if that would be the better deal. The water usage is a factor of course, which we use to water our plants and animals. Will have to weigh it further.
Let me know if you decide to go with something different. Sounds like you have a pretty good set up as it is, but the convince of having a built in chiller is too nice! - Linds
Awesome review. Even though it’s for “home use” it’s actually a commercial gym cycle and made in the USA🇺🇸. I used it extensively a while back at my gym when I was injured and couldn’t run. It has magnetic resistance instead of a brake pad which is one of the reasons why it feels so smooth which is a great secondary benefit. The magnetic resistance like the rear flywheel is to make it more durable with less friction and less moving parts to replace. I run full and half marathons almost exclusively and don’t cycle myself. That said if I ever married a spinner this is the cycle I would get her for our home gym.
CORRECTION: "Yukon costing $900 that comes with a chiller"... is NOT true, its just for the tub ONLY. Which is also a glorified blow up tall kiddy pool. Add ~3k-4k for the chiller
@@garagegymreviewseverything A fitness spa(?) that was changing their offerings was offloading 20+. They were down to 6 when I got mine. I had to drive an hr ea way…but was worth it.if I had more room in my vehicle I would have been tempted to get more and resell. Only kicker was they dropped the price again as I was driving home.
