Question is it normal for them to rip eachothers fins ? My female especially is ripping his fins . I don't know if this is part of them mating or just fighting 😢
After the male will release bubble and when i release female the female will always running from male 😢😢 my male will be always ready but my female will always run away i feel so bad because I am keeping fishes from over 3 years but my betta never breed when i give same pair of betta to my friend he has breed them over 4 times
Thank you for this video! I have my first breeding (i hope) pair together right now, and am thrilled to see some of the steps I've already seen take place in their love nest. Here's hoping for a bunch of small fry! 😊
actually the male don't play tag he is triying to bite the fins of the fem but i don't worry for your betta because it's they're natural habit and don't forget the water is always 3-4 inches if you're breeding for your male to breathe faster and swim faster to the top because they need oxygen too.
Thank you for that video...i was totally unprepared at the level of aggression that happens at first...that was my first experience today...so itcan get a bit ruff at first. All the info i'd seen was a more peaceful portrail of it all....now i know!
I've got an egg bound female (she's been bound for at least a month, if not longer) that was given to me for free by PetSmart. Everything in their power was done to help, and our last step is breeding. Both were conditioned and the male has a nest in the breeding tank, but they both just seem tired! She's HUGE now, bigger than she was when I got her, and I believe this to be due to her exposure to the male. But she seems so tired now. He'll go through bursts where he'll flare and she doesn't really react, and then he goes and rests for a bit. Then she'll check out the tank for a bit and rest again. Is this normal? Is it a bad sign that she seems so tired? She's still got an appetite and perks up at me, but they're not playing tag!
