Sounds like Victoria is trying to give aspiring home owner-occupiers the opportunity to get into the market, by making it harder for investors to buy too many properties there. Kinda makes sense, I guess - given the housing shortage. Terrific set of comprehensive interviews btw.
After the GFC in 2008 waterfront properties in Mandurah almost halved. Any thoughts on that slump repeating? I think Mandurah is different from Perth in this regard.

Some of the wealthiest people I've interviewed on the show have made their money investing below the blue collar, it's not for everyone but it's best not to dismiss it

Architecture is such a hard major. A friend studied bachelor of landscaping architecture and it took him five years full time just barely to complete and pass all the tests. Lol and the salary upon graduation is not even parallel to the uni effort.
46yo and getting into this property investment idea just now. When talking growth potential, what do you reference when deciding/guessing the potential? For example, I look at industry/employment in the area and surrounds as well as ease of transportation.
