I'm in UK and travelling to Italy soon...I want to fly my Mini 2 in there .., which country is the easiest and preferable free to apply for a operator license? which certificate exactly do I need? The Luxembourg website is asking for 🆔 verification....how can a no EU member can apply then? Thank you
Hi, Things got complicated for UK pilots traveling to the UK since brexit. The rules that apply now are the ones for non EU residents. UK residents should should apply in the first EU country visited, although the Mini 2 is below the 250 gram threshold, so the procedure is simpler, as there is no exam needed. If the only country you are visiting is Italy, you should do you paper work there, through the Local authority, named ENAC: www.enac.gov.it/en

Nel caso della ruota panoramica spiegavo che c'e la scelta tra modificare o no i parametri di esposizione durante l'hyperlapse. In quel caso specifico li ho lasciati invariati, contando sulle luci artificiali per attenuare la differenza in luminosità. La valocita di otturatore e la stessa durant tutte le foto, probabilmente 3 o 4 secondi
10:07 is it raw version, or you have done post processing? I don't have plan to learn video editing soon. So if the raw video version of air 3 is like this on the 10:07 min then I will buy air 3. otherwise I won't. so, please answer me.
Hi, the clips you are referring to have been taken in 10 bit color profiles, in which case a good amount of editing is needed. The 8 bit profile Normal is the one to use for footage as it comes out of the sensor, even without editing. You can check some footage in Normal at around 4:40 in the same video

Nice tutorial, but I don't normally use a lot of slow motion. And when I do it's mostly slowing 60fps footage down in a 30fps timeline. Thanks for sharing Vic.

The display of the RC2 is surprisingly good. Not as big as some tablet, but great resolution and reduced flare from the sun. In my opinion the RC 2 is extremely practical: non cables to carry and connect, very ergonomic in the hands
Thanks Vic - yet another topic covered in great detail. Never bothered with the FPV much before - but I can see now how it could be interesting as a feature from time to time.
It's so fake. The banking moves but the horizon doesn't move up and down. I tried it and it's not natural. I'm an FPV pilot so I know how it should look like.

Thank you for the head up. I have recently changed computer, so I have been working on all the different settings, I have been trying to get the right ones for audio. It is starting to get better now
I've been using Skylum software since they used to called MacFun (or something like that). And Luminar Neo is a great way to edit your photos, but I still use a combinationof Lightroom and Neo. Great video, and thanks for sharing Vic.

Suppose we are away from drone or drone are at low level like 20ft in garden or under tress.sudenly we need RTH but if i had set RTH HEIGHT AT 200 feets.. My question is that when my dji air 3 prepear him for goto 200 feets (for set RTH position but drone are at under tress so what will b happened.. They did or not colapsed with tress..? Pls clear my confusion

I think edited photos are deforming light and you are pushing to much exposure and highlights when editing. Editing should be very soft, maiteining dark where is dark, not push up shadows as the image is going to look weird.
I know what you mean, for YT videos I edit photos in a different way compared to what I normally do, to compensate for reduced luminosity, contrast and staturation
Thanks for your video. It is what I was looking for. I am wedding photographer and I want to do some aereal photos from the venue. Are the photos from the video edited jpegs? I see a lot of difference from 3 pro to 4 pro. How ever I will shoot in raw to edit them to my test. I have read that the sensor is the same. Will I have better raw with 4 pro? Could it be possible to download some raw files? I like a lot the photos that you did very cenital, with a lot of green and some roofs.
Hi Francisco, I always shoot in RAW and then upload the resulting JPEG. The Mini 4 Pro has the same sensor SIZE as the Mini 3 Pro. There are many rumors in social media about a possible difference in technology in the sensor of the 4 Pro and Air 3 vs the one of the Mini 3 Pro, but I cannot confirm because DJI has never revealed it. The MIni 4 Pro has a new image processor and the processing software has been improved. In my opinion there is a very important difference between the 4 Pro and the 3 Pro in terms of video quality and features. I understand you are only interested in photography. For still images I find that the 3 Pro is a bit weak in terms of detail, while the 4 Pro gives much better results. @@VICVideopIC thanks!! I should edit some photos to see the difference. I am very obsessive with editing photos hehe. So If I have two raws from 3 pro and 4 pro I could see if there is difference. I will download the files and edit them, and if you want I can send them to you with my opinion.
I did try the waypoint one on my car but it was windy that day and the drone was too low to the ground, so I failed at the effect totally 🤣 Thanks for the tutorial, I will give it another try :)
