Curiosity Inc, an antique and collectibles store, a vintage motorcycle dealer and an adventure! Always out looking for cool new finds and finding creative ways to bring new life to old stuff!
Oh my gosh! You are in Arkansas. I am a long time fan and subscriber in Little Rock, Arkansas. I am a genuine born and bred Ozark Hillbilly. I would love to have shown you my Dogpatch, USA collection. I am an apex collector, one-of-a-kind artifacts and etc. I am also an avid collector of curiosities, and would have loved to have you unload some things from my 2 mini-storage units, LOL. We had flash flooding in my neighborhood this past weekend, and lost our pet yard turtle. After 4 days of searching, we finally found him though, safe and sound. Best wishes.
The house is absolutely great I would move in it the way that it is it is amazing I don't know how many houses you can find like that probably not many
Ok! Carthage would be a great location in future. Are you looking for specific items? We are pickers and have a friend with a shop with watches etc… have a safe trip.
I’m in Kentucky and a tornado struck a marina about 2 miles from my house around 1 a.m. Monday morning. I slept through the storm my wife woke up and said it sounded like a train ran over the top of our house. There was no damage to my property, but sections of the marina were totally destroyed as well as a storage facility and a large camper was crushed when a tree fell on top of it.
I visited friends in Jonesboro, Ar many years ago. He was driving around giving us a tour of the town. Several times I noticed clear cut lanes through the trees, like the ones back in Michigan where a string of power poles and lines would be run. I finally asked him if power lines were going to be run down those lanes. His answer sent chills down my spine. "Oh no." he said, "Tornados just ran through there!"
I'm sure Alex doesn't find this to be a big money maker, but it's a very cool collection from a wonderful couple. The album box find was really cool. Great selections from what I could see. If I was Alex I would just keep it for the memory because it made him think of his Dad, but that's just me.
I am sorry...so sorry but knowing you are safe, I was laughing. Oh my gosh Alex, Disaster seems follows you wherever you go...You just can't make this stuff up! SMH. So glad you are ok. BE CAREFUL Please. And I do feel sorry for victims of the storm however of course. I just couldn't help laughing when I was listening to you say, "I woke up and there was buildings destroyed...". (I work online while I watch you tube - I list for imy Ebay store. So I was half listening until that comment...woke me up).
Hi Alex We live in SW Missouri , Carthage about an hour North of Bentonville. We have a beautiful historic square with antique shops and Boots Court Motel, original Route 66 treasures and Red Oak II a replica of a 1930’s town which was the brain child of the late Artist Lowell Davis. You should stop by! Yes, tornados are common here this time of year sadly. Carthage is 30 min from Joplin and there was a horrible tornado in 2011. God Bless
Your ability to "just miss" terrible events is amazing! Someone or something must be protecting you. You've escaped wild fires in Canada, a horrendous fire on Maui, and now a tornado in Arkansas! Keep on being LUCKY!
we have a picture of my Mother in laws car sitting outside the hotel in Three hills and the tornado going on passed it! We were down in a valley as it went over us on our way there. I remember the tornado that went through Cut Knife Sask in the 90's. Only time dad's horse willing went in the barn.
We live in Eureka Springs, and yes was a very frightening night!! Entire area still sketchy with power! Many of my friends lost homes and businesses in Bentonville/Rogers.
Love these videos so much,so many memories…I am almost 68,born in 1956 in Amsterdam in the Netherlands.🇳🇱 Thank you Alex for always bringing back memories of things I thought I forgot.🙏🏻🥰
I feel sad that you used chemicals on those Roman coins. Distilled water only, I have cleaned hundreds of roman coins, Each one can take up to 4 to 6 hours if you have the patience, Using chemicals causes pitting on the coin and it does not look good, Do it properly & you will be rewarded Love your work.🙂
That was amazing,Alex! The Corgi cars for yourself were a fantastic find! I love the Coca Cola box,I think it can be used as a tray. Ofcourse the tins and the coins were really good finds too..and the Noritake tea set is Lusterware..love love love it. No swan in the lake though, that’s a shame. It would have been worth more. Still I simply adore Lusterware.😍
Also sleep through everything. I remember at breakfast in college, all the guys asking where I'd been the night before during the fire alarm. The building cleared, and I slept through it. The alarms were SO loud, too, the old dome of metal w/ hammer style. My stepdad also once changed the battery in a fire alarm outside my room, and accidentally set it off for several minutes, about 12 feet from me, door open, and I just incorporated it into a weird dream I was having. For classes in college, I had 3 alarms - dome&hammer, and 2 digitals, cranked all the way up, and I slept through those a few times, too.
You were only about 2 hours away from where I live in Northern Arkansas. I live near Mountain Home, famous for it's rivers and lakes and great fishing as well as antique shops and flea markets. I am glad you are okay. We had tornadoes up our way too.
I have only seen the thumbnail, either it’s fake or typical America has just butchered a classic. I’m not going to watch as I don’t think I could handle the cringe 😬
