I Was Actually Blown Away When I Found Out That Columns Released On The Super Famicom. I Mean, A SEGA Game On A Japanese Nintendo Console, That’s Insane!!!

But in a conversion, you don't have a lot of time We did it or the money. At the time we needed to, for we hadn't handed in any products for a while. A company as big as ours needs money. "Hawk" took a very long time, and we have to pay those eleven people. We're perfectionists. "Afterburner" was a quick job. It would have been good if we would have had 1 week extra. But they (Activision, ED.) were concerned with getting the product out in time. But for our original products, we take as long as is necessary.
i played the C64-version back in the erly 90s and this music was all this years stuck in my head in a deep deep corner of my brain - now it's released again into my consciousness
I feel bad for Gary Kitchen after seeing this, wowa! If only Gary had the time and the cheap RAM to be able to have made this version instead of the gingerbread man we got back then.
Coleco Version is super close to the Arcade version , Coleco is more than Arcade version Sega Genesis Mega Drive yes Snes version yes Dos Windows is a Arcade Turbo + Arcade perfect ports Nes Tegan version is very good 8bit console experience
I searched through a boat load of old DVD's & a few hard drives & have failed to locate the file. :( I'll be looking through more stuff later. Hopefully I can find it eventually.

Ah yes. I remember that this Game along with it's predecessor "Total Carnage" were banned in my country a long time ago and where just released like 7 years ago.
In an interview, the guy who programmed the original for the 2600 said he could have done all four levels, but they didn't want to pay extra for more RAM in the cart.
My opinion: MS DOS: Excelent!!! Genesis: Great! SNES: Good! Sega CD: Bad sound but good music But the worst goes to Game Boy Advance and Game Boy. Sega Game Gear and Master System is average.
Loved this on the Amiga, though the ST version is probably the most impressive computer version, relative to the system's abilities. The 8-bit versions all lose to Rainbow Islands on the respective systems, though C64 and Spectrum are still fun despite the missing backdrops for the former and the Spectrum being monochrome and musicless (despite being 128K only) . Amstrad is too slow despite not having scrolling to deal with, but I think a patient fan of the arcade game could get something from it. Just.
