Ugh I have googled and RU-vidd trying to get an old ti-nspire to work and i have no luck. Having to do college algebra calculations on paper is super hard. I try and solve for variable I put the comma then the variable with parentheses it says I don’t have the parentheses. I tried to do domain and it won’t give me that.

Pushing all those buttons just to work with fractions is a pain. I ended up buying a CASIO fx-115 ES PLUS which is way easier for working with fractions... and has a simple button (s=d) to convert an improper fraction. Casio is much less stressful.
