How to enter Test Mode (also known as "Press to Test Mode") on the TI-84 Calculators. This will work on any TI-84, including the TI-84 Plus CE, TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition, TI-84 Plus Silver Edition, and TI-84 Plus.

Test mode is most often used to clear calculators and to prepare them for standardized testing. While in test mode, students are unable to create or run any programs/apps. A calculator in test mode will have a blue status bar at the top, as shown in the video.

late but get ti connect ce, plug in the calculator, turn it on, go into the calculators section, right click, and press exit exam mode

For the people wondering how to take it out of test mode you have 2 options either with another calculator or you pc/laptop im going to explain for pc/laptop so first you need to have te software ti connect ce and then you connect your calculator to you pc/laptop go to actions and their you select stop testmode

@@andresesevilla No longer works, at least for me. The calc doesn't show up in the list of connected calculators :/

if you already have a cse then idk. if you haven't then get a ce instead as cse's are pretty weak
