Hi mate, nice maps, can you make a mod, with a good engine sound, and a jakebreak sound, to pacific p16, well de engine sound it's not bad but, it can be better
Hey Remoh, I have a mapping question for you. I want to modify a map (not yours) and change the chance or amount it rains. Is that a value I can find in one of the json or xml files? I have been digging around and reading through them, but I havn't found anything yet.
The weather is dictated by the "sky presets" The rain is packed with the day/night files so you can't really change how much it rains other than using the settings from another region. Now I've never dug into the day setting xml files so maybe you can change them in there so it may be possible
Man, I like your maps. So much so that- assuming you'd be willing- if I had the time and $$$ to do so, I'd go out to different corners of Oklahoma and film/map areas for you to make a region for in Snowrunner. I have two offroad parks, and one 30k acre section of public land that I could get done within a few weeks (though I should fix my winch first). There are other areas I'd have to plan trips to go out to, but it'd be a blast for me and a couple of friends who I know would love to join on such a quest. I'd film the sections individually and use OnX Offroad for mapping, because I'd be able to map things down to within about 5 meters of accuracy and you'd be able to download the GPX files to your computer
Thanks for checking the video and the map out. That's awesome. I'm going to make a point of helping fellow map makers get their maps out there. So many great projects out there that get lost in the mod pile. Thanks again
Awesome work bro! Will be good to test it out 😁. Glad u enjoy my 76 beast series mod. She’s a beast on ur maps tbh 😊. Goes good in the mud to 👏 P.s I think we need a map “phantoms/remoh map 👀.
I pretty much have to do an Aussie map next for Expeditions. This one is a set up to add to Beaver Creek when missions are working for everyone. Wasn't going to be nearly this rocky but I just don't know when to stop. We will have to do some brainstorming
Thanks. Right back at ya! What would you like to see next for an editor video? The nice part is Expeditions and Snowrunner have the same editor so everything applies to both.
@@remoh667mapping You can decide, I just have one thing, I know it’s not that important but I was just wondering how you add a background on the map border in the editor, what I mean is when you go to the map border of for say one of your maps, you see a background in the distance that looks like it’s on the map but it’s not, I was planning to add background to my older maps and the one I’m working on right now. For the most part, you can put what you see as the most important for map making in your next tutorial.
I will was thinking of making it a third map on Highway Haulin 2 maybe. Like a destination you could pack up and travel to. Who knows. Definitely will give it a go again
PS5 is allocated so little ram. Still hard to comprehend why Sony did that. I usually put out single map versions for you and the switch players. It aucks when people miss out
@@remoh667mapping You do and it's appreciated by many. I'm currently looking into getting a decent PC. PS5 is getting worse, new games constantly crashing, bugs galore and graphics stuttering. Been with PlayStation for 20 odd years and every latest system seems to get worse instead of better.
I switched after xbox 360. It's honestly the best bang for your buck. The whole PC thing is alot easier than it used to be too. It's a more money but a much more useful machine.
I'm playing this region and it's beautiful. The contracts and tasks aren't too difficult to handle. Just a bit too much crafting to do in my opinion to get the needed materials.
I'm on the fence with crafting too. I use it a bit but it can be overdone very easily. The missions I completed were challenging but not stressful. It's definitely tough to keep a player interested for that many missions but it's nice the have so many options.
The thing I noticed that tells me ...I will enjoy this map... very little objects blocking the roadways. Something I feel Saber has abused out of laziness. Too many of Saber maps have fallen trees, posts, huge rocks, etc... blocking or making traversing "difficult''. A cheesy way to interpret difficulty
You're right on that one! The difficulty should be in the roads and logistics. This is a map that you will get a good challenge and actually have fun on
That's a real pain. From what I understand it's just a bug that consoles have to deal with. The error 002 doesn't seem to have a solution other than trying muktiple times. Wish I could help more. Sorry about that
Unfortunately the file size is too large. That's the downside of custom models added in. I usually add single map versions of my regions for that reason. It still blows my mind that PS5 players get so little resources allocated for mods. Perhaps you could ask the creator on the mod page if they would release the first map as a stand alone. I hate to see players miss out on content
For your Tasmania map on snowrunner it needs more mud to the west coast because in Tassie the west is known for having loads of mud around every corner
What platform? I know Snowrunner hangs up with errors on some consoles that you have to try a few times to get past. I did fix an issue they found the other day. Thanks for the heads up I will see what I can do
Right on. I figured it was a good test run for a much bigger version in the future. How's the mud depth. Still kinda playing with it. Definitely a little different compared to building in Snowrunner
@@remoh667mapping perfect I purposely got myself stuck to test out the mud and I got pretty stuck today,I barely got unstuck winching to a tree 🤣 I'd be so happy if you made one big mud park using this mud park but add campers lined up on one side like people are there for a week, not trying to tell you what to do but when you get around to making a bigger one for Expeditions I'd like it to start out at a house
I’ve been trying to learn how to make maps for snowrunner, I find your vids very helpful but always wanting to know more. Hopefully you keep these map making vids rolling. Would definitely love to see more
I'm going to try and record a few more as I build. I figure these vids are more about "how I build" rather than "how to build" I've been thinking about getting back to some tutorials and explanations. What kinda things would you like to see?
This is looking amazing so far. This Ontario setting is why I started to make a map, myself, except it's time consuming for a newbie like me and I went back to doing Alien Isolation stuff, which is what I do. I'll leave the Snow Runner map creation to the pros ;)
It's soooooo hard to learn a new program. I messed around with beamng and farm sim a bit and it's crazy how much you need to learn. I forget so easily how long it took to be comfortable. Ad long as we are creating something the players will are having fun. That's what counts.
That's the only thing stopping me for Expeditions. There just isn't a whole lot to work with yet. It's a shame, I do like the subtle differences of the new game and it looks fantastic. I guess we just have to be patient
It's got an hour or two of trailing so far. I'm going to update tomorrow to add the mud park and a bit of new trailing action. It's close to 50% finished I would say
Should be available for everyone now. I'm planning on adding a second map once I'm done with my current mod map project for Expeditions. Death Roads was a fun world to build.
Bro you make the best maps!!! I’ve been playing since 14 Spin tires. I miss the old moders like Nix and Spun. Glad you’re still around. Best maps dude. Thank you
Thanks for taking the time to let me know. I love coming up with the adventures. I can't take all the credit, you all come up with a ton of ideas, I just get to build them. I was actually looking on the steam workshop the other night reminiscing about some of the trucks we had. Would love to see those modders again for sure
Just completed this Mod Map, talk about some sticky situations. Great job! Hated those dead tree falls that snagged your truck! Little wider paths would have helped out! Kept me busy for three days off and on. ❤❤❤
I'm sorry😂 I hate using those fallen trees but they went with the look (they don't break like the fallen pines) I may go back a widen a few trails up. I wasn't going to do much with missions but I just kept going. The wider trucks definitely get wheels up on the grass which isn't as fun
Great Video, The Mamute is a very popular truck in Brazil, the mod creator are actually brazilian and did a very good job by puting the most commom add-ons and paintjobs that we have here.
It does but the mod scene has really slowed down. Most vehicle mods are available are made by our Fav Snowrunner modders and some ofnthwm are ported over to Expeditions from Snowrunner. Personally I would wait till it's on sale. I do personally plan on making more maps for Expeditions in the future for sure.
