I've been enjoying your maps for a while, but just now found your YT. I think the fact that you didn't tip at about 2:47 is a credit to Rng3r for his incredible suspension tuning, the man is a beast in that department especially
I rarely, if ever, comment, but i had to respond to this. With over 1000 hours in Snowrunner, i think i can humble say that consider myself a pro and specialist in the field of Snowrunner. Over those years i have gained quite a bit of experience in many maps, including mod maps. I tried your map intensely for over 8 hours non-stop with passion and with all the patience i had. My conclusion is simple but powerful. First of all, a huge compliment for the layout and design of the map. It is truly beautiful but oh so treacherous. The height differences in the map are breathtaking and also very dangerous. There have been several times when i seriously thought that the map might be TOO difficult(?) The realism literally jumps off your screen in the behavior of the road, if you can call that a road...lol. This is NOT a map that you do on a moment's notice or in between. No absolutely not! It is by far the most difficult and challenging map i have ever played in Snowrunner. This requires with emphasis and i repeat with EMPHASIS the utmost in patience, trying and trying again and retrying again. My skills were really put to the test and my blood pressure and stress levels shot up trying to navigate the perilous roads (-; Now, you can consider this as good news because of how good this map is. But actually it also has a downside: this map is really, but really hardcore!... Not for the beginner or who thinks; oh i'll do that aka Jermery Clarson-style. Especially if you play with the standard vehicles that come with the game. Even with the DLC vehicles or EVEN with mod vehicles, this is a very difficult nut to crack. That's why i fear that playability will be compromised for many players. A grade for the map: 9 out of 10. Difficulty level: 11+...omg what a stress...
I didn't see this until today. I'm so sorry. It means alot to hear this. Honestly. I try so hard to give a real, immersive adventure. Sometimes I wonder if anyone notices the little things I add into the worlds, or the little jokes or connections in missions. Thanks again and sorry I didn't see this sooner. Better late than never I guess.
Aie that's so amazing! Thank you so much for your effort! I always wanted this!!! I love also how you use the stock asset! Are all your mods based on stock assets?
What a fun map, as I have wished for awhile someone would make a death-road map. You did a really good job and thank you. I wish you could fix the trailer store though, it will not allow for any longer trailers and states not enough space when there actually is. Also the logging mission calls for like 9 loads or more, is there any reason for that?
Very good news!))) Can't wait to enjoy the ride on this map. I understand that it could be a difficult, but I want to try mod truck Mamute here, because it seems to be very approprite for the spirit of this map.)))
Should be available for everyone now. I'm planning on adding a second map once I'm done with my current mod map project for Expeditions. Death Roads was a fun world to build.
Hey man, hoping you see this. Could you possibly make a log hauling focussed map? Like dirt roads in a dense ceder/pine forest. Obvs a bit of mud and paved roads. Love role playing on your maps and am yet to find a mod map that has me hauling logs mostly. Thank you for your dedication to the maps you make. Can’t wait to see what you bring to us in the future!
I'm really going for a good mix of hauling and exploring on this one. There are a bunch of trails all over plus lots of free roam area too. I'm just adding in campsites around the map now for a little extra rp options
Brace yourself for an ultimate challenge! Navigate treacherous paths, conquer deadly obstacles, and prove your skills on the road of death. Good luck, adventurer! 🚛💀🌲 #SnowRunner #DeathRoads #UltimateChallenge
Hey there I don’t even know if ur posting vids anymore but if u are could u base a map off of Disney Oklahoma I’ve been there and it is a really good rock crawling and trail riding place it would be super cool if u could base a map off of there
Not long now. I'm just starting to write the missions so maybe 2 days if I don't have many errors. I'm pretty excited to get this one out so its moving pretty well
Very nice map brother but I like longer bridges no sides..and really narrow roads like tnb trails narrow. I'm not sure what country its in but they have this that goes over a river for a long way and its all hand built very dangerous irl maybe make that happen? But its a very beautiful map non the less👍 thanks for making it for us 🍻🔥✌
@remoh667mapping it really is the perfect place for map mods those cliff roads look scary, and with the new danger rock slide thingy that's been added in the new quarry map would you be able to use that?
I know I’m in the wrong place to be ranting about the new mud runner game but no matter what vehicle you take the rocks throw you all over the place. They’re so slippery. You can’t drive it. Almost borderline ridiculousness one thing that I was able to do was change the right and left bumpers back to snow runner settings, which helped a lot but still so so ridiculous.
I sure hope really really really soon. You build a decent map for this new mud runner expedition because all this making your own roads garbage is getting on my nerves as well as probably every other person that’s bought the game. There are literally no roads and on one of them there are 101 upgrades that you have to find all over the map 133 missions if I’m correct which I think I am but this is really dumb and I know that they did say expedition, but you would at least think there would be some roads on this expedition, so please please please make a map or two to go with this game
