Try twisting the brush round and round as you slide it down to get nice curls. My Mom used to do mine with a fine comb when I was a little girl. She had a cup with water on the side, and would dip the comb in the water prior to making each curl. All the best!
Good curls. Wet your hair I shower n flip my hair over n mousse scrunch. Volumize my front hair I don't handle my hair too much or it gets frizzy Air dry n floor it as much or as little as I feel like that day❤❤❤❤❤
Your hair was too dry. It needs to be VERY wet and have a bit more product. Leave in conditioner and gel. To get the bounce and volume you also need to diffuse.
GIRL 95% we were born with a curl pattern each can be sooo different! You had curls without that brush! Go section by section with your product and use ypur hands and fingers and define each section Done.

If you notice they don’t show the curls when they are using the brush. They are brushing 3/4 of the way down and then voila a head of curls. No way that works!😂
I imagine that you need to find the right product or you’re not using enough product. I am biracial with Black kids with 3 different curls patterns in my house and each have our own product regimen.

I think you have to put a little bit more tension on the brush and your hair the tighter your hair is wrapped around the brush as you curl it out is what gives you the curl
