I have books on Suzanne and Dora. I’m listening to The Paris Muse by Louise Treger on Audible, the story of Dora Maar and Picasso through Dora’s eyes, it’s really good
Wow this was so informative, thank you for the presentation and telling her story so well. I'm going to the exhibit at the Neue Gallerie in August, can't wait to see her work in person.
I really enjoyed this presentation. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I was so glad to learn more about Paula. I'm curious how you did your research, what were your source materials? Great work.
Thank you for this overview. I'm doing an art lesson with kids for black history month and choose Lois Mailou Jones. I came across this video and it gave me enough insight to give a brief introduction to my kids. I too like to dig deeper and get to know the artist before presenting art lessons to my kids.
Hmm. If you consider weavers artists then pre modern ideas of artists is the correct idea. Artists are nothing more than laborers and their product isn't worth any more than minimum wage. The exact same going rate as any other laborer. Either there are limits as to what at is or there isn't. If there isn't then at is no more, more likely less valuable, than the coffee and biscuit made by the local fast food employee. Also, William-Adolphe Bouguereau, opened his co-ed school long before the Bauhaus. Modern art isn't art.
a book I mentioned: Windswept:walking the paths of trailblazing women is by Annabel Abbs- it's very interesting- Gwen John is Chapter three! She wrote some of it while at the Dora Maar residency in Menerbes- that is how I found the book!
I had the great honor of being accepted to one of Liliana’s shows years ago. I had never shown my photography work, and applying was a long-shot, but she saw something! Her work is amazing, but as a person she’s even better. ❤
Your mission has accomplished with these questions of “Where plastics have gone?”! Heart sculpture of discarded plastics unite the hearts of people to question ourselves. Congratulations of amazing work!
This is great! I’m so proud of you Bibiana! Your sculpture is cool and this video is powerful and makes quite a statement. Frank’s narration is perfect. Thank you for sharing this. 🌟
Beautiful pieces- I know that they are fabric and very delicate, but they also feel so strong and have such a bold presence. Love this presentation! The music fits well too. - Tanya K.
Thank you so much to all of those who made this possible! Inspiration Art Group International is a wonderful way for artists to connect. I’m proud to be a part of it. 🌟 - Tanya
Thank you so much for this wonderful presentation. Tilly did a fantastic job not only with the research, but she’s also a great speaker as well. I really enjoyed learning about Sonfonisba and all of the symbolism in her beautiful work. Thanks to Inspiration Art Group International for all of the great things that you do. I look forward to the next presentation! 🌟 Love, Tanya

Absolutely stunning presenattion curated and in participation by artist, pianist, composer and curator Bibiana Huang-Matheis. Contemporary Bojagi Fiber artist, narrators, Leoni Castelino in colloboration with clay and bronze sculptor artist, Irene Osborn were better than show spectacular. Professor Emerita of Finance and Writer /Researcher heartfelt inspiration with curator artist Bibiana Huang-Matheis provided the soothing essence of sound. A must see for those interested in art creativity. Art, womens history and culture.
