The ocean covers 71% of the earth’s surface and stores heat energy. This water circulates around the globe on currents, spreading nutrients, stabilizing weather patterns, and affecting the fluctuation of temperatures. The animation “Currents” is a homage to this complex system of flowing water, the beautiful shorelines it creates along the way and the profusion of marine life that swims in its waters.
