My name is Jess. I'm just a normal girl who loves doing DIY in the simply but pretty way.
I used to hand-sewn to make clothes for my baby doll when I was a kid. When I'm getting older, I'm getting busier with other things in life and left that hobby aside. And making clothes for adult is way more difficult than for a doll with a non-professional tailor. But I always love the feeling when I'm into a DIY project. Therefore, I bought myself a sewing machine, a very basic one. I've never learned how to sew before. So whenever making clothes, I always try to find the most easiest way to do it. But it has to turn out to the way that I want. And I believe lot of people out there is having the same feeling as me. So I try to record the process when I do my DIY projects to share with you the way I did it.

Could you make the popular house of CB dresses that have the gathering fabric on the sides and the front middle panel goes all the way down to the skirt.
Thank you, Jess, for this fantastic tutorial. This dress is exactly what I have been looking for... and to have it fit me... Amazing. Your choice of gingham fabric is perfect.
I wonder why don't they just sell tshirts that are already nicely done..... why are all tshirts for women so weirdly and ugly squared these days? They are wide and short which looks pretty bad on girls i think. Also, materials are often either low quality yet can be branded (lol ☠️), thick materials, too visible brand names (honestly, I'm not paying to wear Levis massive t-shirt logo for free, nor do I wanna wear LV logos everywhere like a 🤡 to show i spent money to be someone else's add.. don't care if it's Prada or Lacoste, fashion is ugly these days 😅😢). I wish more female clothes were truly about elevating women's different features (as each of us have different bodies!! Take that into account perhaps? Like a line for different body shapes even maybe 🤔). I have a thing for tops and tshirts that aren't tight, but are sewed in a way it recognises the shape difference between boobs and the lower torso. These are impossible to find... its a common way of making jogging/sport jackets though. Clearly, it's because it's the most comfortable yet flattering. Squared tshirts might be a fashion fud of the gen-z but it should just stay as a fud.. hate how every business these days keephinking they have to jump on the latest trend 🙄 like no.... do what you do the best, stick with it and don't switch your customers like this. End of my rant (yes it could have been much longer I still have lot more to say.... 😆 😅)
i have a question 🙈 do i add the seem allowance or the equation written includes the seem allowance? for example 36cm= from the shoulder to over the breast + 4cm. the 36cm includes the 4cm? or do i add the 4cm so its 40cm? same with the 84cm + 20cm.. is the total 84cm or do i add 20cm?
I just made this and it is my first ever sewing project, i started at 6 am finished 10 am i made some mistakes but i finished it and it looks fantastic i cant thank you enough 💗
Hii I have been waiting for new video but its no uploaded yet Please I want to make dress for my birthday but I don’t fine any beginners tutorial please make dress for birthday 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I love your videos and all the explanations of how to make the different pattern pieces! Thank you so much for doing these. One thing which would make the videos even better (and therefore easier to follow) is using material where you can see whether it's the right / wrong side, OR, just a mention of whether it's the right sides together / wrong sides together etc. That extra information would be invaluable!!
