I would also suggest a voltage converter to convert the 12v back to 6-7volt for the proper voltage for the fuel guage and gas tank sender to work without burning up. What has been your experience?
Hi Eric can you help me I've got a 38 Chevy 6 volt stopped charging. Got a good battery, I don't see a voltage regulator anywhere. The original generator Delco Remy has a little square box mounted to it, is that the regulator built on? How do I check this thing ? What should it be putting out I have a volt meter. Thanks
Millions of people have been using Rotella T4 and T6 in there motorcycles for years and swear by it. Both have JASO MA/MA2 on the back of the bottle so that's good enough for me.
spent a half day on mine and not halfway there, only one post is done. still need to measure and drill holes, its a tough slog. don't be fooled by this video.... its rather hard work. i'll get an energy drink before going at it again.
Great Information… something to think about. In my job I have opportunities to visit different companies and a couple of years ago I had tours of some major pistachio growers in California. One grower sold and packaged pistachio nuts for multiple brands including Great Value for Walmart. They have set standards for quality identified by each brand. I asked how the standards for Walmart Great Value compared to other brands… thinking the quality demands from Walmart would be lower. Instead was told that the quality standards for Great Value are the most strict of all brands. The reason is that you can get a bad bag of product from a major brand and overlook it… but if you get a bag of Great Value and it has a bad pistachio in it… the consumer will probably never buy it again. So Walmart demands that their Great Value brand be held to the highest quality. Always thought that was interesting.
Glad that state is limiting the number of crossings to help the Westslope Cutthroat Trout, and still have off road trails for the people who enjoy that.
i may have my dads tool somewhere that was used to adj those valves running (back in the day) spring loaded with "tits" on both ends so it didnt slip off
Im wanting to do the same process on a semi truck of similar age with a large 6 cyl gas motor. How does the 10si charge at idle? Does it require revving to charge?
