This is one of those "stomp boxes" that has to be demonstrated on a table where the player can easily reach all of the controls. Put it down on your pedal board, and you'd best pick one or two settings you like, unless you're okay with stopping to kneel down and twiddle with both hands. Sure, it's "vintage rack-style atmospherics in a single pedal" -- because it's got six knobs that all do two or three different things depending on what button you hold down! It's ridiculous. Also: I FRICKIN' WANT IT SO BADLY!!!
This is the beauty of you tube, acts like this have a platform to showcase their stuff. I saw this and said, who the f&$k is this little girl? She's amazing. The only person I know that plays wrathchild that good is Steve Harris himself. She might have played it better, Steve might agree. I'm so impressed I can't believe it.
Anthony Jackson really nails that James Jamerson feel. He's my favorite Bass Guitarist 👌🏿👌🏿 Thank you so much for talking about AJ. 👊🏿🖤 Marcus Miller influenced me way earlier than AJ coz I grew up listening to Music he played on for Luther and many Artistes. He's an incredible guy. Been trying to get him over here for a while now. I first heard about Trujillo on the Jaco documentary he did. Incredible work. They need to do one with Anthony Jackson while he's still with us. Greetings from Uganda 🇺🇬👊🏿🖤
George Tripps sucks. The "Supa-AquaPuss" is the worst analog delay I've ever purchased. I'm old...like 50. I've owned: Moog MP-201, EHX Deluxe Memory Man: old man edition w/ hardline power, Ibanez/Maxon AD 202, one of the first ever analog delays with tap-tempo, the Memory Lane, to name a few. The Supa-Puss has an overly strong first repeat. and weak (whack) subsequent repeats. The "gain" knob can not get passed 9' o'clock before everything goes to sh*t. Again...I've tried this with multiple guitars...none are particularly hot. Maybe I got a bum unit...but if that IS the case, then why does a mega-corp like DOD/Digitech not have better "standards/practices" in place? "George F*cking Tripps Big Deal Guy"....If your name is meant to mean something, don't let it be associated with useless, over-priced shyte. PS: I will gladly sell you my "super awesome totally analog Way-Huge Supa-Puss" at any point. FYI: Analog delay of choice these days- DOD Rubberneck (so "ya"...not hating DOD/Digitech...just George Tripps). Digital- Meris LVX).
Super random but I so bad want to see Stephen hop on a track with Chevelle. I feel like him and Pete as guitarists would compliment each other greatly.
I'm watching this video right now and Rob is sitting there talking about Jaco like HE invented playing 16th note grooves on the bass.... and since both MM and RT come from and through 60s and 70s era learning from and being influenced by that music, how in the world do they LEAP FROG over Francis "Rocco" Prestia from TOP (Tower Of Power) and Alphonso Johnson, who incidentally, was the 2nd Bassist to play for Weather Report...NOT Jaco... ( Jaco actually got his sound from listening to Alphonso...who while playing bass with Zawinul and WR, play a fretless and a SCARUB.. at just 17-19 years of age... before going solo...he also played Contrabass... which I have yet to see or hear any record of Jaco playing..).. the is, how come no recognition of those Legendary Bassists??
@joshuatyson1907 Well, they have the technology to move them out front, so why not do that and save the consumer the hassle. I get its four screws but internal pots are dog shit.
@@CBGypsy03 Buddy, you’re just lazy. You’re the only person I’ve ever seen or met that has an issue with internal pots just because they’re not on the front of the pedal. Also, about your initial comment, it’s “should have” or “should’ve”, not “should of”. That doesn’t make any sense in any context.
There is a company that does that mod on this specific pedal. Although, they kept them inside to make sure that your foot doesn't hit them when you turn it on.
