Yes - I couldn’t find any documentation on this but I reached out to MXR support with the same question because I want my stereo chorus pedal in front of this pedal. They said the input jack is mono by default, but it’s capable of being TRS. You just have to take the back plate off. There’s a dip switch on the circuit board. Flip it from mono to stereo and then the input jack becomes TRS. This is how I use it, and my stereo chorus in front of this delay now works as stereo like it should. I’m not sure why they don’t document this … or better yet, make the dip switch on the outside of the pedal like they did with the left side dip switch. Love the pedal though.
Such a beautiful work. Everything. The sound and design of the stomp box, the scenography and overall looks of the video, even the guitarist. You made such a great work, wow.
I believe it's based on a multitude and combination of different effects that were being used by the edge during a certain period. Including the ones you mentioned
@rkharper Ha Ha, (( After EVERY Segment )) in the "Video Manuel" Thank God for that. The supplied manual... ISN'T ! But, mine came with a Power supply !! & an $800. Discount on All MXR Products ! [ I'm Kidding about the $ 800 dollar thing ]
@@griffinmik Great! Thanks for sharing that info. I'm not sure why Dunlop wouldn't make that known, but I'm glad to know that it's capable of stereo in, too. Cheers!
Kind of surprised that there's no midi control with this pedal... It's so in-depth that being able to store some presets via a controller would be REALLY helpful.
This pedal must be my spirit gear! I swear I dreamt of this pedal on December 22nd. I dreamt I used my energy and power so it could be released from a glass box... somewhere on a higher building. It was destined to become the voice of the Cosmos... and today I had a huge shock when I saw it!!! It's exactly what I need to start my ambient soundscape project. Thank you, guys. Joshua will be my 8th MXR pedal and we will start...
100% USELESS In a Live Band setting. ZERO Program ableity. & (( Litterly requires 3... THREE Sepparate extra Pedals. ( I have one on my pedal board, Before my main delay unit.
Good for you... A "Tuber" sitting on the edge of your bed. All those "Ambient sounds... CANT Be programed, & used in an ACTUAL BAND. Hillarious. ( It still found a place on my board) With 1... ONE Cool sound.
&, In case you're wondering, I ONLY Bought this unit because of its EXACT,/True, Delay sound. ( I Certanly don't want to sound like the edge ) But, The other sounds are Incredible !! Which I can Taylor to sound like ME. I've been performing, Recording & touring for decades. & Have had Manfactures give me many pedals. I have HUGE boxes of pedals. & Delay units ? EVENTIDE, Strymon & on & on, & Only 1 Delay pedal, sounds other worldly. & I've bought many backups. My Guitars & playing ARE my "Effects" I use an ABY Box. Between a 66' Fender Super Reverb, & A 50w Marshall 72' MK 2 Litterly the best I've ever heard. & I've had many. & have a million shades of sound by using my Volume knob ect. ( What few effects I use) are in front of my Fender) I Somerimes rotate other Amps. That's it.
CORRECTION : Sad to realize that to access @ LEAST 15 Otherworldly sounds, One (( MUST )) OWN & Utilize 3 Sepperate auxiliary pedals to access the many sounds available. &.... (( Z E R O )) Program ability !!! Sooo, This POTENTIALLY Amazing pedal is 100% USELESS In a LIVE SITUATION !!! (( Thanks for stealing $200. Plus !! Hard earned dollars !! ¡¡ If, you, ( Jim Dunlop) made a version of this... A bit larger. That had a "Bank" control, AND TRUE BYPASS Preset buttons. THEN, It could be used ... In a LIVE SITUATION. Hmmm...... Let me guess, 6 months from now, you will market such a device. This IS ONLY Useful for YT ( Sitting on the edge of their bed ) [ Never played in a band, ] Or ever will, users. PERIOD.
Cool pedal but very expensive. Maybe people should start learning to use their existing delay and reverb pedal and buy an octave pedale to add the shimmer. It's just a multi-effect made small and easy to use. It's not the invention of warm water. If you don't have any pedals, it could be an easy way to get some quality effects in one stompbox. My 2 cents.
