I did highwoods parkrun last weekend and that was a tough course. Very hilly. I have done Chelmsford lots of times so it was nice to see you there. Hope Ads gets better soon!!!
Great video. You should do Felixstowe soon. Lovely flat and fast and a brilliant cafe (Gullivers Wife) for breakfast after which is right near the start.
Great video 😊 Clacton is our local parkrun but we went to Colchester castle yesterday for some tourism, can’t believe we missed you! Me and my family watch your videos all the time!!
Wa! Nice to see that the trees have all recovered - I went down the Prom the morning after the 1987 hurricaine, and loads of the trees were on the floor. It's odd seeing Maldon again. The drone footage of the Estuary was nicely done! Maldon-on-the-Mud!
Both laps aren’t equal, that long walk to the start is the uphill you found on the second “full” lap. Because of this, the start is higher than the finish which makes this a net downhill course. So despite the hill, you only run up it once. You’re right, it’s a bit uneven in places but it can be run in road shoes, even throughout the winter. If you can handle the uneven surfaces and do a bit of course study beforehand this is very much a PB course (because you spend more time running down than you do running up).
Great vlog mate, I saw myself in this video. Keep up the good work, my official time from the parkrun was 32mins 01 seconds, and my PB is 31mins 33 seconds
Great overview of the parkrun. It's a pity, as well as surprising, that you didn't manage to film as much as a yacht whilst running along the shore, the biggest ships in the world regularly sail past to and from the docks. Keep up the good work.
That was a cool park run. And congrats on a solid finish. That lake though looked like it had been drained... Do you know what was going on with it? Looks like a scenic run as well. Glad you guys are back making videos again.
Good to see you yesterday, I was one of your spotters on the start line. Great video no idea how you talk and finish that quick….. Felixstowe would be a nice one for you lovely and flat single lapper on the sea front fast times if its not too windy and big attendance 400 plus.
Great running both of you! I'm loving the channel. Can I suggest the Somerdale Pavilion Parkrun in Keynsham just outside of Bristol? You'd love the curly wurly.
