Please could you do a video on scar treatments? I have had multiple laser and micro needling sessions, I have seen some results but am now considering subcision and would like to know if it is worth it. Thank you
I’m 71 and recently lost quite a bit of weight. My face is sagging. I’m single and it would be nice to find a significant other (but it’s not a top priority in my life) Men my own age are looking for women my DAUGHTERS age! They don’t want saggy wrinkly old ladies.
This video is spot on! Tbh I noticed next to no difference in marionettes lines after a thread lift. Cost was a few thousand dollars. You’re better off putting that money towards a facelift.
All the easy non surgical fixes either don't work, work in the beginning but create issues later or are straight up dangerous. Or a combination of these. I'd rather go for surgery, these days that seems like the most safe and effective option.
Don't recommend them. They are expensive and painful to get. There is downtime. Don't get a lot of lift. It is better to get other treatments or get a facelift.
Surprised that you don’t include the masseter muscles in the areas where you think Botox can be helpful. This treatment has been very beneficial for me, completely stopping my problems with teeth-grinding and greatly reducing my number of headache. Cosmetically, it has also provided a noticeable improvement, in that my jawline is much less square looking than it was previously.
Good morning, I would like your opinion on a problem that concerns me, and which you talk about in the video. Even if the 4 types of products that appear in the video are not used in Italy, and I don't know why, in my case 3 years ago I had the first inoculation, in the points he talks about, I'll start by saying that I was 59 years old and had not much wrinkles. evident on the forehead, crow's feet (3) only on the side of the left eye, absent on the right, a very strong corrugator muscle on the upper part of the nose, which creates 4 deep furrows, two more marked, the others less so, but I have the expression always "frowned" from the moment he woke up. My aesthetic doctor initially used Vistabex®, which he almost always used...after three weeks nothing happened, in any area, he tried to do a touch-up a week later...but nothing...He having said what you also talk about, that is, some people have antibodies to the toxin so there are no effects. However, he tried using 2 other brands: Azzalure®, and Bocouture®...a slight effect was had on the crow's feet, but the thinker's wrinkles remained. Doing a search he found Alluzience®, which was reviewed very positively, it is already pre-dosed, they are two syringes ready for use. Flying over the circle on the forehead after 10', and a big headache for 12 hours... after 2 weeks the miracle happened... despite still having the possibility of frowning very slightly, the 4 had disappeared furrows between the eyebrows, crow's feet, and the central part and the tail of the eyebrows were raised, in a harmonious way, he explained to me, because in some patients they were raised too much, giving a "Mephistophelean" effect, so he had intervened with some adjustments to make them go down. The only sore point is that I have the possibility, speaking - I have always had a very mobile face, to raise the tail of my eyebrows, so some wrinkles have formed right above them, but the Dr. tells me that the only thing he can do it's an injection, it seems to me in the middle of the eyebrow, in this way it lowers everything....But I like that arched shape...according to your experience, there is a way to leave them like that, but avoiding the two curved wrinkles on the sides? I thank you in advance if you will be kind enough to provide me with an idea, or if you know of other drugs that can be used in Italy, that perhaps my doctor does not know about. I apologize for the length of the question.Thank you, I await your kind response. Angelo P.
I am not sure I understand your question. if you have no response to one product, in my experience you will fail with them all but resistance usually comes after years of use. does that sound like you? if so there are no other options sadly.
@@adamgoodwinsurgery Hi, thanks for the immediate response, I probably didn't express the concept well, my experience was nothing with the first two inoculations, of the products whose names I described. With Alluzience marketed in Italy by Galderma, it is a type A botulinum toxin, it comes in 2 ready-to-use syringes, 200 Speywood Units/ml of injectable solution, in a few days I had the effect that I had never achieved, unique If it can be defined as an inconvenience, it is that by lifting the tail of the eyebrow, the area still remains mobile, and small wrinkles form on the sides of them. I therefore asked you, in your clinical experience, if this had happened to you, and how it could be done. resolve, without causing the eyebrow angle to "drop" which is very pleasant. Thank you for your availability and prompt response. Angelo
Only Botox will decrease wrinkles. All of these expensive creams and serums do not work believe me I've tried them all and they do nothing! They're a waste of time and money. Botox works out cheaper in the long run and the results are guaranteed
no its a good question. in some techniques it does. there are so many interpretations of each type of facelift that its down to the individual surgeon in most cases. deep plane its more likely to be released.
Thank you Dr. Goodwin. Would someone who had a HA injected in a tear through area be a good candidate for a lipofilling in the same area? Would HA filler have any impact on fat transfer? How long would you need to wait to do a fat transfer after HA filler injected in the same area?
@@adamgoodwinsurgery Thanks a lot for a prompt reply. I'm thinking about fat transfer (lipofilling) to treat my under eyes hollows, but am not sure yet. I though to inject HA filler in the meantime until I will decide if I will do a lipofilling or not. I have 2 more questions please: 1. What might cause lumps and bumps under eyes after a fat transfer (lipofilling)? Can it be avoided? 2. I'm skinny person and one doctor told me that micro fat injected under my eyes (lipofilling) will be visible in this area on my face and didn't recommend me to do it. When I came to know about the lipofilling treatment for the under eye hollows, I had such high hopes. But I see that doctors either strongly against it, or very encouraging about this method. I'm totally lost now. Thank you in advance for sharing your thoughts!
I am nearly 66 and have a really good neck ..never smoked and smother it in Nivea...mostly thanks to Mum...i inheritated from her.....plus her hairy chin ...love you Mum!
I am male 61 y o who found it tiring to fully open my eyes which probably due to heavy upper skin / eyelids. Often i could just 1/2 open my eyes. What treatment(s) you would recommend?
I had no idea that fat taken from the abdomen still thinks it’s abdomen fat after being injected into the face and will impact the face in the event of weight gain😳
I am considering a neck/ face lift. I am very worried that i will look like I’ve had work done. Seeing people like Carol Burnet, Jane Fonda, Pricilla Presley, scare me. They look terrible and look like they had surgery. I need to know why they look so terrible after the work was done, especially since they would have had money to pay for the best. Please help me understand if their results are normal.
its 4 or 5 facelifts followed by too much of everything else that is the problem. you don’t notice a well done first or even second facelift. hope that helps.
Bankrupt Twice and she still has more money than most people who are working, and a face like a smacked arse, how she gets away with it is impossible to fathom.
Hi Adam I've been see you before for consultation about necklift and facelift I'm still trying to put it off like you suggested. I still don't like the look of my marionette lines I can feel the heavieness of them hanging round my mouth I've read alot that facelift doesn't get rid of marionette lines that you'd need to pull to much to get rid of them to be honest when I lift my face it does help slightly but not completely. I have tried filler but it's done absolutely nothing. This lines really affect my confidence more so then the jowls the question I want ask is what prodecure do you perform to lift the corners of the mouth does a midface lift help . It's just like my face sags round my mouth Could you please suggest something that will definitely help please..
Doc, can you please make a video on the subject of lip lifts? Different types, such as the bullhorn technique, seagull, Italian, corner lip lift, V to Y, your personal experience, what technique you'd recommend, etc...🙏
