Here we will endeavor to fix vehicles and build some others for : On-road only, Off-road only, On-road/off-road, track or whatever else comes to mind.
Along with that we will take some trips out into the Great Basin Desert and explore some trails, Ghost towns and/or whatever interesting places we can find. This will be an attempt to provide a guide to those that want to explore the Nevada desert and surrounding areas.
I need to rebuild my 5spd transmission so we I'm looking to replace it all together but can only find 6spd transmissions. Do you need to program the ecu for the 6spd? Oh and yeah the the 6spd 225 clutch is different from what I hear
@builditgarage this one is manual trans. That side top mount on mine looks more like a mount that would normally be on on the back and bottom on a newer Toyota
@@darrenmcadam2318 it was my friend's truck. He really enjoyed it and actually start driving it off road. He just recently sold it since it isn't big enough for his family to fit in.

Not sure why I didn't show it but in the left bathroom cabinet I built a box over the heating tube and built a shelf in it. Now both cabinets are useful.
I have watched a 1/2 dozen of these and so far you have done the best job showing where the mounting places and what you need to unhook. I am surprised that no one has replaced the heater core and the blower resistor....
I had the exact same thing happen to me. Had no idea. I first brought it to Firestone tires to quickly look. They were saying it was a recall on the gear and said mine was leaking fluid. . So I had it brought to ford. . Ford found the rock quickly but still had to pay for the diagnostics. I also had to pay Firestone for the diagnostics. And the fluid was the fluid film that we all put infer the truck before winter to protect from Sault. They should have known that at Firestone.
That thing is stupid and very annoying FORD can you hear this. Stop doing tricky things that say to people "don't buy a Ford". This thing needs a recall to be able to be disabled!!!!

Yes. The hitch mounts in the same location with respect to the rear wheels and back of the bed. The distance from the center line of the axle to the end of the bed is the same distance. So everything is installed the same way on the trucks.
It does get a corrosion layer on it and it can be susceptible to electrolysis when in contact with steel. I mainly painted it so that the silver color wouldn't stand out.
Great video. Thank you . I will save this for later. My 2011 is currently at the shop for replacement. At a hefty tune of 3300 bucks for the full job. This id the second time evap core has been done. The first time was done at the dealership which was a nightmare (was under warranty) had to take back 3 times. Its lasted about 3 years. "Next" time i may just do it myself. This is really annoying, just had a new Ford delivered in Australian. Went for a trip in the country today, we have a lot of very straight road. Continued to go off all day, it is so distracting. Needs to be changed with a update.
The car most likely has an open differential so only one would turn unless you put the car in gear and then they would turn opposite directions since the engine would stop the diff from spinning.
Hey I have a 2017 runs drives starts fine except when I’m towing a load behind or just giving gas to pass a car mechanic checked my pressures were good with scan tool and when put under load from the scanner, checked and changed all fuel filters no metal, what were you experiencing when it was found to be the pump? I do t wanna spend a bunch of mo ey if I don’t need to right now

I was able to push it but you might have to pry on it. You might have to jack it up a little to get it to slide in. Sorry for probably missing your issue. I just turned notifications back on. Not sure how I turned it off.
They are rough country shocks. I would not recommend them as they never felt like they did anything different when you adjust them. Then the rear ones have leaked all the fluid out. I went to Rough Country to see if they have a rebuild kit for them and they said "No, those shocks are not rebuildable". It costs 900 dollars for replacements. I would suggest you get Fox or Bilstein shocks.
Yes I am able to push it by hand on hard flat surface. The jack-e-up doesn't hinder that. But the swivel on the caster wheel got rusty so that makes it hard to push because the wheel gets stuck in the wrong direction.
