Hopefully he'll be fully healthy in 24-25. I'm so excited yet terrified for it, expectations are quite high for Ruff but for now I have faith. On a different note, Tage is such a likable player, and I hope he hits 50 goals this season.

That guy is one of my favorite players in the league. He’s so tall & big, but also has amazingly long range with his long arms & stick. Couple that with soft, SOFT hands, and combination gets you into Dangle Town. Only thing he truly seems to be missing is the Mean Factor. But, just get him on Cocaine & Steroids, little bit of Roids & Coke and he’d literally be Top-5 of the most dominant players in the league, Maybe even Top-3. He could literally be an hybrid of Mario Lemieux & Eric Lindros

He is the most uninvolved player. Never engages in puck battles and always gives up on 50/50 plays. Never skates unless he has the chance to score. Dangerous with the puck? Yes. What will he do to get the puck? Not as much as he could. He is FAR from being a complete player who backchecks as hard as he skates for a goal. So much wasted potential for a complete player
Loved the vid. In response to 3:42, I personally think your style really shows the hidden talents of this league's stars. But I don't think guys like Aho, Rantanen, JT Miller, Joel Eriksson Ek are talked about enough. A truffle vid on some of those underrated players would be sick.

Love your videos man, if you made a patreon or something I would probably donate if it meant videos would come out more often. I'd love to see these types of videos on retired players, Gretzky specifically. I'm an Oilers fan, but I'm only 19 so I never got to see him play and I feel like the highlights I see don't seem to do him justice, and I can't find much old footage. Paul Coffey would also be interesting to see. Someone else commented Bouchard, I'd like to see that as well.
Thanks a lot. I actually started a Patreon before Christmas, but closed it as I knew there wouldn't be any videos for three months. The problem with Patreon is that typically you need a pretty large following in order to make it worthwhile. While I can't overstate how much I appreciate anybody who would spend some of their hard earned money on these films, having a few dozen patrons really doesn't move the needle considering how much work goes into making these. But I am going to open it up and give it a year to see if it catches on. I'd like to, but I can't shake the feeling that Quinn thinks I did him dirty on the first one. I have no factual basis for that, but something he said in an interview left me wondering. The 'message' behind the video was that he should relax a bit. He was young and great, but it's impossible for a 21 year old defenseman on a struggling team to be perfect. Maybe I was wrong, though, and it's that very frustration with imperfection that's seen him elevate his game so tremendously every year. Of the three bona fide superstar young offensive defensemen, he's the only one who's not plateauing.
