Cambodia is a fun place❤ and I been there before.and went to the park with friends, went to the carnival, went to the mall, and get to play at my uncles house❤
Hello great video seeing this and really allows me a greater thought for planning my honeymoon during the time of May,! Which villas do you recommend for that period? :)
We're considering Le Bora Bora for our Honey moon after our Antigua wedding in May 2025, When you say you can walk from the bungalow to the end do you mean it's very shallow like only a few feet of water under the bungalows?
hey there! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding 🤗 and yes, as you can see in the drone shots that shelf of white sand makes the water under the bungalows waste deep almost everywhere, it's a stunning location! If you have more questions, or you're looking at multiple properties and would like a rate comparison, we get great rates and perks at hotels in French Polynesia and around the world, just DM us on instagram, or email us at team@voyagerguru.com!
This is a truly stunning location but the value for money is not great. I was there before the reno and maybe its changed but as nice as it was the food/drinks/service are nowhere near what other resorts in this price category are. This is a pretty good all inclusive with a great location that cost as much as much or more than much higher end secrets/excellence/couples/sandals/hyatt resorts. The location is certainly worth paying more than other Bahia resorts but aside from the location there is nothing special or outstanding about this resort and you can go to many equivalent quality resorts for 30-50% less money and most resorts that cost this much are a lot better than this one.
Hi there! I would 100% agree with you, pre-renovation...however, this is a completely new hotel, that shares very little with it's former-self other than the location. The new Cayo Levantado Resort is honestly a property that, from our perspective, is deserving of the stunning location. While it still has room to grow, as we noted in our review, we feel confident in saying it's now up to the level where it's certainly one of the top hotels in area.
El peor? That's a stretch, no? There's some pretty terrible resorts in the La Romana/Punta Cana area. Also, while we have not stayed at the Catalonia Royal, La Romana, we have stayed at their sister property in Punta Cana, and it was such a terrible experience that we checked out of the hotel on the 1st night of a 7 night stay at 3am....just sayin
Hi there! so unfortunately they do not offer 1 day charters as this is a liveaboard. They only offer 4 and 7 day bookings at this time :). If you need any help booking, feel free to send me an email at team@voyagerguru.com xx, Maren
Hi there! they do offer an all inclusive package. I would recommend booking it with the premium all inclusive plan, personally, as food costs can be quite high. If you need any help booking, let me know as we get exclusive rates here. DM me on instagram at @voyagerguru or email at team@voyagerguru.com :) xx, Maren
glad you like it! the beach villas start at around 250-300++ in low season. Season, occupancy, meal plan and room type will change the price, but feel free to DM us on instagram or email us at team@voyagerguru.com, if you have specific dates in mind, we get great rates from this resort!
hey Ryan! aww congrats!! yes, you can call for a buggy anytime! just be sure to call 10-15 minutes before you want to leave. When you're at restaurants, just ask the waiter to call them for you :). have a wonderful trip! xx, Maren
Such a cope for being a lower level medallion and never being anywhere near the top of the upgrade list lol. You must be truly sick in the head to turn down a free upgrade to first class, like being cramped next to 2 other people on a seat half the size of this one is more comfortable 🤣
Thanks for the detailed review! Me and my friends are going to spend a night there in April, and I had some high expectations since I'm an Accor Platinum member... But after watching your review, I'm kinda anxious whether the receptionist/customer service will grant me my benefits upon checking in :(
Hey Patrice! thanks for your comment! While the service definitely wasn't up to the 5 star standard, accor properties are required to grant you the benefits as per the program so as long as you know what the benefits are going in, you can make sure they are granted at check in! that's my recommendation :)
I have been to Samana many times and have taken a small boat over from another resort to spend many hours on the public beach, it truly is a special beach and when i was there it was the the Bahia Principe Cayo Levantado, it has many changes over the years and i heard it was going to renovated. It looks beautiful now, its really a special place in the middle of the ocean. Samana is really a jewel of the Dominican and the drive from the airport in Samana is gorgeous, i love it.
Thanks so much for your comment!! Yes the resort is really at its best right now- it’s so beautifully done and all the spaces are gorgeous. I love that they used all Dominican designers and decor it just makes for a really unique experience :). Hope you get to go stay there next time- it was fab!
Hi. I am overwhelmed at the choices of hotels. I would love to experience that beautiful crystal clear water stretched out as much as possible till your eyes could see, white powdery sand, maybe a sand bank and good food. Any recommendations please?
hey Jany! thanks so much for your comment! Yes, it can be SUPER overwhelming! there are so many amazing hotels based on your budget and what you're looking for. feel free to shoot me a DM on instagram @voyagerguru or email me at team@voyagerguru.com with your budget/dates if you have them and I can recommend some of my favorite options :) xx maren
@@MissRed92837 Totally agree- some islands have bad house reefs! The very general rule is to look for properties farther from Malé for the best reef systems - particularly in Baa Atoll
Thank you for the review, can you say if the water get rough here and windy? how is it travelling on the boat to and from the resort ? just wondering if it would be too much for someone who might get sea sick from rough waters? what part of the year is the water calm? how much does it cost to take the boat to mainland ? this resort have seating areas throughout ? are there golf cart to carry you to different section of the resort?
Hey there! thanks so much for your comment. Eh, the water can be a bit rough but you can sit on the lower level and it's only about 10 minutes by boat so it's not too bad. It can be SUPER calm but it just depends on the weather that day honestly. They do have a free shuttle that runs abck and forth if you want to explore. Yes, there are a number of amazing relaxing areas around the hotel- the lobby bar is gorgeous as well as the beach club and main pool. For sure, if you would like a golf cart you can request it on whatsapp or you can flag someone down who is driving around the resort :). happy to answer any other questions!
@VoyagerGuru thank you, what time of the year would you say that part of DR the water is not rough ? Do you think this resort have bugs or ants issue ? Only asking bevuase i saw a youtube review of someone saying they had that experience, I have been looking for resorts that's not over crowded or everyone going there( e.g excaret resort in mexico too common ) medium size resort , lush and well kept grounds, great food, beautiful room, rooms with tub / jacuzzi, plunge pool ,romantic vibe atmosphere ,good service swimmable beach, laundry facilities , multiple restaurants that serve cooked fish, salmon, snapper, tuna, activities such as band singing, dance performances or shows but NOT party vibe resort ,just the right amount of entertainment, seats and golf cart around the resort, a resort close to or in an area where we can have the ability to explore areas/towns/shops off the resort if we decide to..
Hey! honestly, there's not really a bad time to visit but the water roughness is more based on storms and weather. September is probably the least consistently good weather time of year so keep that in mind due to the storms in the Caribbean. We didn't experience any major bug or mosquito issues, but be sure to bring some bug spray for dusk and dawn. It definitely fits your requirements of being not too overrun or crowded, it's very high end and definitely up there as one our favorites in the country so far honestly. Great option for exploring Samana/Las Terrenas as well!
@VoyagerGuru ok thank you, is sanctuary cap cana very far from this resort? If so, can you recommend atleast two resort less than 1 hr or less than 2 away from this resort in the vid that's nice as santuary cap cana and the resort in this video
@@pheliceafoster2752 Sanctuary is about 5 hours drive from this area of Samana so it's a bit of a hike. personally I would say if you want to do a few nights somewhere nearby, stay in Las Terrenas for a few nights and then come to cayo levantado. There's nothing SUPER nice very close. happy to help recommend some things if you shoot me an email at team@voyagerguru.com :) xx, Maren
We have booked for next February and I wanted to ask if the all inclusive also includes cocktails and other drinks? Is there also a tennis court there? Thank you!
👍 I just saw this Sa Pa's *Hotel de Coupole* featured briefly on *DownieLive* channel and had to check it out more. Thanks for being so thorough on your thoughts and experience!
Thanks 😊 glad you liked it! This resort was not all-inclusive, like other neighboring resorts. That being said, the food prices were not outrageous, and we really liked the flexibility of being able to eat and drink at other restaurants along the beach and in town. Aruba is very small, so it's easy to get around! If you're comparing hotel's in the area, feel free to reach out and DM us on instagram or email us at team@voyagerguru.com. We have access to great rates and perks at hotel's all across the island!
Stayed at Pullman a couple of weeks ago off the back of this video and absolutely loved it! Can't wait to go back. Currently considering The Residence for our next trip to try somewhere different and slightly concerned that we will be disappointed with The Residence after such a great experience at Pullman. Interested to hear your thoughts on if The Residence will live up to expectations compared to Pullman
That's amazing, so glad the video helped! They both have some pros and cons. The all-inclusive package at Pullman is certainly much more comprehensive than the Residence, but the lagoon and water at the residence is much nicer than Pullman. Here's our residence review if you haven't seen it already: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nAqPKO6AiAA.html If there are specific things you're looking for, in terms of what you enjoyed at Pullman, feel free to DM us on instagram or email us at team@voyagerguru.com, and we'd be happy to provide you with more specific recommendations. We also have access to great rates and exclusive perks 🤗 so before booking make sure to check your rate against what we could get you!
@@tebu786 we loved Pullman and we thought the water was incredible. Some parts do have a bit of vegetation in the water but because of this you get great sea life. We saw turtles, sharks and rays right by our bungalow within the first 24 hrs
I was Just about to book until they said it’s not an all inclusive hotel 😢! Really ! They need to change that ASAP! I’m sure they loose a lot of bookings because of this?! Moving on ! Man I really liked this 1 too !
