My wife and I are going to JA Manafaru in February for our honeymoon so it’s great to see our destination in such detail. Thank you so much for such a comprehensive review!
Hi Matt! Thanks so much for your comment!! I'm so glad you found the video helpful :). We are so jealous you are heading there in Feb!! Have an amazing time and don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions :). - maren
@@lindas2531It was the most amazing experience ❤ So much so that we’re planning to go back in a couple of years for our 5th wedding anniversary. The food was delicious and varied with lots of different restaurants to try. I snorkelled for the first time in my life so I’m a complete novice, but I’m sure the water sports team would be able to direct you to the best spots. The beach was sandy and clean, but what we really loved was the remoteness. It was a long journey from the UK, but it was worth it for the overall ambiance.
We love, love, love your films!!! Being huge Maldives fans ourselves, we really appreciate your input on islands we have not yet visited. Like Manafaru. 🤗😀🌞🍾 We decided def on Milaidhoo after seeing your film for example. You are the best!!!!!
Thank you for this! I couldn’t find anything this in depth on this resort! I’m so excited for our first trip together across the world next year here!! What airlines did you fly with?
Thank you so much for your comment! I'm so glad you found our videos! Have you seen our Maldives guide on the website? it's got 50 pages of info - you can get the free download here: www.voyagerguru.com/destination-guide/maldives/ it has lots of useful info about the maldives in general :). We usually fly Emirates or Qatar because they have the best flight times and great upgrade options. Keep in mind with JA to make sure you fly in and out of Malé at the right times since seaplanes only run during the day. If you need any help or have any questions, don't hesitate to DM us on instagram or email me at team@voyagerguru.com! xx, Maren
Voyager Guru is a truly a great Maldives review channel! You guys mentioned that you were at JA Manafru in low season but may I ask which month were you at JA Manafaru? We're planning to return to the Maldives to celebrate our 20th anniversary in September and we're worried about the bad weather.
Hi Yvonne! Thank you so much for your comment!! That sounds like a great trip :). September is one of the better months in the Maldives so you should be fine! We were there in May which is essentially the height of the monsoon rains off the coast of india. I hope this helps! Let us know any questions you have!
Hi there! Thank you so much!! It means a lot to us :). Actually, we will be reviewing Pullman in may!! Stay tuned :) we can’t wait to film it and share it with you!
I have been following your travels for a while now, and always trust your feedback to be so dependable and honest. I would love to know which resort each of you would call your 100% favorite all inclusive resort? Is there 1 that you would go to time and time again without hesitation? Would love a video on this! Ours would be a hard tie between Xcaret Arte and Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana. Thank you ❤️
Hi Kayla! Thank you so much for your feedback and comment :). Oh gosh- that's such a good questions! It's hard to answer because there are many factors at play including location, the purpose of our trip etc. We definitely have some favorites like Le Blanc in Cabo for their incredible butler service and inclusions, Emerald maldives thanks to their wine program, Hyatt Cap Cana likely for the same reasons you have (food quality, service, easy to get to). I love the idea of a video - I will think about how we can make that :). Also, Xcaret Arte is definitely on my list!! Thanks so much :)
Thank you so much, Nishane! There is an all inclusive package that includes most of the restaurants, tea time, sundowners, alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks and discounts on some of the romantic packages :). I'd highly recommend!!
@@VoyagerGuru I watched your Cora Cora and Pullman review to find something as good as Ayada but no, not those 2. I will keep searching. Your videos are great and very informative. Thank you for great work.
Did you do the all inclusive here by any chance? If so, was it truly all-inclusive/limitless for all the restaurants and bars? (Except the wine room of course.)
Hi Kathleen! Thank you for your comment! They do offer an all-inclusive package and it's pretty good. It includes all meals, high tea, sundowner canapes, cocktails/mocktails and a selection of wines and beers. While it is not as extensive as an all-inclusive only hotel such as Emerald or one of those, it is excellent quality and does include a lot. It does also include the minibar. You can see one of their deals is available on luxury escapes right now (sign up is free to the site): luxuryescapes.com/us/offer/ja-manafaru-maldives/0062y00000BcbiVAAR Their AI package also includes a discount to the experiences like the Dining by Design we did :). Hope this helps!
@@VoyagerGuru thank you! Yes that is so helpful, and I actually booked the all inclusive luxury escapes deal last week and am so looking forward to it!! I just was unsure on the all inclusive, like if we could go to the pool bar at anytime and have a cocktail or if it was just with meals or what exactly!
@@kathleenheaslet9443 totally fair questions to ask!! And thankfully, yes, you can #roseallday hehe!! Don’t hesitate to reach out with any other questions!! I hope you guys have the best time
Hi Eman! Thanks for reaching out! The rooms on the sunrise side are the exact same layout on the sunset side, the only real difference is one is facing the sunrise direction and the other faces sunset. It is important to note, however, that the predominant wind comes into the sunset side, so if you don't want your patio to be very windy, the sunrise side tends to be a bit calmer. That being said, if you're an early bird then sunrise is AMAZING, but if you like to sleep in, i'd say go with sunset :)
Amazing!! What a great excuse to travel to paradise! If you need any help, don't hesitate to reach out! We get some great rates through our partners in the Maldives
Hi @siouxskies! We’re so glad you enjoyed your honeymoon at JA, it’s an incredible property! Just to clarify, whilst we do get hosted by the properties during our stay to produce content, the thoughts and opinions in our review are not influenced by the hotel, and are our honest review based on our extensive experience across resorts around the world! Definitely would love to hear more about your thoughts on the resort as it really helps our viewers and future guests know what to expect based on your experience! Looking forward to hearing from you!
What was the name of the room you showcased here? Any idea if the sunset room has a private pool? Is it small sized? I feel like their website doesn't share enough pictures of the room types.
Super helpful review as always with your videos! I am heading to the Maldives dec 28-Jan 8 and I am torn between staying at the Lux Ari Atoll, JA Manufaru, or the Ayada. Which of these would you say has the most beautiful crystal clear blue water, sandbanks, and water activities? I plan on being mostly by the ocean... JA is beautiful but it seems like they have more indoor activities from what I see in this video? Please help Thanks!
Hi Angie! Thanks for your comment! That sounds like an amazing trip. JA does have a lot of indoor activities but they also have a lot of outdoor stuff, honestly. We just were unlucky with the weather 🤣. Of the three, I’d say JA is the he’s quality resort and the remoteness allows sea life to flourish and the water is spectacular! If you need any help, happy to help. We do get some preferred rates to properties like JA so happy to check them out so you can compare!
