Maybe you shouldn’t be messing with your roof at a light 😂 I am super conservative with roofs they are super annoying to fix. My friend got his roof stuck while it was starting to rain. Always pull over
I have a 330 E96 Red 2011 import from Germany here in China and live in the beautiful mountains north of Beijing where driving with the roof down on the amazing hairpin rods is the best driving experience ever in the most beautiful convertible car ever. Some of your annoyances are valid but I could put up with a lot more negatives and still be very happy!
Long term review : 2018 Mini Copper Countryman All 4 S Problems prior to 60,000 miles: Door Latches: All four door latches failed (at various intervals) requiring the doors to be tied down to the headrest until repaired. The passenger door latched failed twice. Service manager was unable to offer an explanation as to the cause. Research mini and BMW door latch failures. Battery Replacement: No indication/warning light given that the battery was getting low… It just stopped functioning. Replacing the battery requires removing support bars and engine compartment panels. Somewhat time consuming compared to most cars. Engine Coolant: almost all of the engine coolant evaporated causing the car to overheat. No warning light that coolant was low. Car had been serviced by Mini of Bedford two weeks prior and had been consistently serviced by the dealership. Decals: Decals around the headlights bubbled and needed to be replaced. Tires: Run flat fair weather tires needed to be replaced to allow for inclement/snow conditions. Service/Technicians: There are very few shops that work on Mini Coopers and most are as expensive as the dealer. Overall: The Mini Copper is not a reliable vehicle and owning one in North America is costly unless you have the time to perform the repairs yourself.
Does it happen that you look back at your video and think "why the heck did i wear that hat??" Btw, that scroll is perfect. If you dont want the hot (or cold) air to blow right to your head, just adjust the scroll and you can "mix" the air that comes out just of the middle air vents. that's what it's supposed to do.
You can code it so the roof opens while you driving until 30km/h or 50km/h. And if you open the roof with the key you can also open the door and it will still continue open it😉
Fantastic review, I’m thinking about buying this car. Wondering how the handling will feel, I currently own a mk7 st which is fwd and 700kg lighter! Going to test drive one soon can’t wait.
I agree with everything you said. I have an e93 325i. I think the steering is sensitive but gives you no feedback. It's a heavy car but much better with the six cylinder petrol engine. The problem I want to add is that I feel that the cars structural integrity is weak when the roof is down. It is much better when the roof is up.
So you open the doors on traffic light 🤣🤣 and also for the hot and cold. Is this your first bmw? I find it very useful when the wheather is between hot and cold.
Luka, da li moze porodica sa dvoje male dece da se spakuje u taj auto? Tacnije, vece dete sedi napred, znaci mama mora pozadi... I kad je dignut krov, koliko realno ima mesta u gepeku? Hvala puno.
The cold/hot air switch is for these 2 air blowers only, really helpful in night winter rides when warmth gets you sleepy but you can just blow cold air at your face to keep you up.
The thing is… the nurburgring is no joke, its not a place to fool around. When you have a limo going slow and you also gt3s going past at 260kph its very very dangerous. I dont think the marshals were being “boring” i think they were just looking out for everyones safety.
I have E93 and what i dont like is heavy steering, would be no problem if its my only car ,you would get use to it ,but i have other cars which are no BMW and when i then go to my E93 it feels like i go to gym ,i have manual and is also much harder to change gears then other cars i have...also suspension is very low so not good for bad streets and roads which are everywhere in Serbia ,every few days i would hit something under or a curb , i have gasoline, sound is great ,engine revs so nicely but fuel consumption is bad..in town can be like 15 liter on 100 km ...on highway 130 km/h its 9 liter ..just way 2 much for not so amazing performance ..but i still love the car very much
Hh there iv got the same car 2010 lci headlight m sport my headlight is faulty get another one is there any difference between e92 couple lci headlight then a bmw 320d m sport e93 headlight look the same same code on the yellow sticker
does it not get annoying when the back end just kicks out the second you plant your foot? seems like you can't put the power down unless you get the few days a year where the ground is dry or if you're going in a straight line 😅 lovely roads though!
You are very much right - as I mentioned in the other comment, it’s a mix of narrow tyres, lots of power and torque and early morning road conditions. ☺️
As amazing as this video is and the skills on show, it’s solidified for me that I should consider an A35 for my next car for that reassurance of 4WD and to not crap myself when planting my foot down if it’s not a dry summers day 😅
Woooow, those are some expert mode steering skills right there dude. Seems like my man even had the ESP turned off, while still managing to do almost all the drifts perfectly fine like they all should be done, instead of them ignorant bastards constantly bumping their RWD monsters into trees and stuff. Very very well done! Keep making content like this! +1 Sub
