It’s an absolute nightmare since they relocated the OEM DV. I ended up using a tuner garage in the end & they had great difficulty. You install from under the car, using an extension bit to get to the screws. Good luck 😅
Hi where did you get the red Ducati extension bits for ur Rizoma mirrors. I have same bike brought same Mirrors but didn’t come with red extension bits I have searched everywhere online.
I had the monster plus and the suspension was too meh. SP is better. I traded it in for a streetfighter V4 that I got a great deal on since it was a 23 leftover $4000 off. With the amount of mods you did why didn't you just go for a SF v4?
Just traded my V4S for this. The Streetfighter is way to much for the streets where I ride ( tight curves) and I wanted something I could wail on. Dont do track anymore so……..
@@stevelesnick6268 but the street fighter is not a track bike at all! My Suzuki GSX R1000R whoops it’s ass. The Ducati is like a go to Starbucks bike and is comfortable to ride to work and stuff for me. Just test ride a GSX R1000R for the twisties and you will be amazed. And it’s actually kind of comfortable. I’m 6 foot about 245 pounds and it doesn’t hurt my back. The Monster does have a tighter turning circle in the street fighter though especially like really tight curves and slow stuff it was like a motor scooter agile. The Suzuki is still better though… just take all your corners in second gear in anything you ride & you’ll never have a problem.
@@mrgr No, well certainly not for all the recalls I’ve been into the dealership for. You can always reset back to the original values if you were concerned. Highly recommend getting the tool though. 👌
replace termignoni with sc project twin, trust me you will not regret it, if you tell me which what camera you filmed it i can give a good comparison :D
Thanks for your comment, was looking at either the single titanium Mivv or SC SC1-S, my only issue with the SC is they use a two baffle system for Euro 5 so aren’t truly removed but the Mivv comes completely out. 🎶🎶🎶 I used a 15 Pro Max to film. This other video shows what I’m referring too, don’t fancy taking a drill to a $1k+ exhaust; ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QBCGtScF0K8.htmlsi=v_76Bywn4nSvWAW1
@@benwoodruff4466 why would you remove a silencer when you are already decat. Its plenty loud enough, if you want something louder you should have gotten a V4. and the sc1-s is ugly af, the twin crt-t looks and sounds alot better, especially in carbon
Thanks for your comment, in my other video you’ll find an in depth review. Link pipe is by Shift Tech in the US, I didn’t remap as such but did install the rapid race evo module that has a pre map installed and auto tunes as you ride, adapting to the conditions. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-l1cw1iYqENM.htmlsi=rY4ATQIxj2q-5_ND
Hi, all changes are saved within the OBD app so you can revert the changes. You are also encouraged to create a backup prior to any changes so you can simple load the backup file if you do something that really effects the car.
@@J-Rod73 Hi, thanks for your comment. Having only just bought the Bike I cannot comment as Sydney is similar to Florida in the summer but as it’s the winter riding the bike in traffic is not bad at all. Ducati are known to get quite warm but I can’t say it’s been uncomfortable when stuck in traffic.
I have the ‘23 monster sp and ride in NYC on a daily basis. Once the temps get to 30c or 86f… city ride becomes unbearable. However, if you are on open highways going over 60 mph or 90 kmph, it’s fine.
Thanks, I’m sure it was a random fault. They did say it was the first they had in where a spark plug had failed at 1k kms. 🤞 It’s smooth sailing here on out.
It is an absolute nightmare location, you can only access the ‘R’ diverter valve from under the car. To access the 3 screws to remove then reattach you need a variety of extension tools & a lot of patience. I had my local mod garage fit it and even they almost lost the will while installing it. Good luck, I do love the sound though. 🎶
Awesome. Gonna get me a red one for my new S3. Kid has gotten a bit bigger (7,5yrs), and let's be honest, the big old maxi cosi is a terrible eyesore in my new car :)
Thanks for your comment, I love the cover & highly recommend it. Quality is top notch & cannot complain about the price when compared to other known brands. Really cleans up the engine bay.
@@benwoodruff4466 Good to hear, the price is what's got me looking. Other option is the cobbs unit which locally are going for $444, but I find it a little tacky and cheap looking compared. Looking at the usp unit can be had for about $440 delivered. 👍
I must say I saw the Cobb on a Tiguan yesterday along with a CF intake and looked very nice. You’ll be happy either way, the Cobb is a lot more in Australia. Good luck with your decision.
Not an infotainment issue as such although these are digital out only so you’ll need a DSP or amp with an inbuilt DSP for the speakers and/or sub. You may experience strange feedback or static front the front speakers particularly the front tweets when you rev the engine with no audio but this can be programmed out with a laptop.
Very different systems, also depends where your located. If local to Australia I’d strongly recommend Xforce, if in the US it depends if Xforce are able to ship the system to your state due to emission laws. Also AWE are a basic catback system, Xforce have the benefit of complete control over the valves & sound either from the remote or upgraded Bluetooth option on the phone including the geo mode for those early morning starts. 😅
Dumb question, does this re-use the factory exhaust valve motors and once installed, this set up just takes control of them using the obd2 connection and the app based configurations you set?
Thanks for your comment, with Xforce they have designed their system with the valve inside the centre piece of the rear muffler as the tips are interchangeable unlike other designs so you can swap them out for larger or different finishes, this single valve is then wired to the smart box in the boot then connected to the OBD port so you retain your race/comfort settings to open & close the valves. If you opt for the Bluetooth box that I highly recommend you can really customise the sound & set the geo location at home to open/close when close to home, a must once the full system is released to keep the neighbours happy. 😅 www.carmodsaustralia.com.au/XForce-ESVW13VKCS-3-Cat-Back-Exhaust-System-w/-Varex-Golf-R-MK8-22?cq_src=google_ads&cq_cmp=18462210209&cq_con=&cq_term=&cq_med=pla&cq_plac=&cq_net=x&cq_plt=gp&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw57exBhAsEiwAaIxaZiZQsNpBx-5IQETFXCKVuujJZbQg1v7z9LOEZhHuLiUmkUoyuMw9rBoC-1kQAvD_BwE

Lol, why would you want to on a built motor like that but can vouch for their valved system & the geo mode to set a home location & close the valves for a quieter cold start.
Thanks for your comment, when I PPF’d the car I had the chrome wrapped in gloss black vinyl. You can also opt for STEK DynoBlack PPF for added protection & lasts longer. 🤝
Thanks for the comment, still waiting for a TCU tune so I can go high torque. I can’t seem to find the link for the white set but here’s the black set; a.aliexpress.com/_msVvEwi
@@benwoodruff4466 In the same boat. Currently on the low torque. I spoke with Racingline last month and they hopeful that they'll be able to crack it this year. Fingers crossed! Thanks for the link, afraid it doesn't appear to link to anything.
@@JJT_eft Using the tool to modify how certain features behave won’t void your warranty, you should always backup/save your original settings before making any big changes through coding or doing adaptions your unsure of so you have the option of backing up to a previous if you really mess something up. The app allows you to track all changes made & can then go back to revert those changes. If you really mess something up, you’ll just have to take it to VW who will flash the system back to OEM with their master tool but they may charge you a fee. Not known anyone to do this though as you can largely do this yourself with the tool. Hope this helps. 🤝
