Lol, why would you want to on a built motor like that but can vouch for their valved system & the geo mode to set a home location & close the valves for a quieter cold start.
Very different systems, also depends where your located. If local to Australia I’d strongly recommend Xforce, if in the US it depends if Xforce are able to ship the system to your state due to emission laws. Also AWE are a basic catback system, Xforce have the benefit of complete control over the valves & sound either from the remote or upgraded Bluetooth option on the phone including the geo mode for those early morning starts. 😅
@@benwoodruff4466 How do you like the Hankook's. I traded mine for Michelin PS4's after only 300 miles. I kept the Hancook's and may slap them back on when I burn through the Michelin's
Thanks for your comment, due to the loose omission regulations in Australia & in an effort to push production through on the Hatch it comes with no OPF but the exhaust is resonated. Xforce provide a link pipe for those who require it with their system. Full system hopefully available in coming months… 🤞🤞🤞
Thanks, local Australia brand called Hussla Zane. Wanted the concave design in an old school 5 spoke shape. These fit the bill & they do them in 18, 19 & 20”.
@@benwoodruff4466 thank you, and also, would you happen to know when the exhaust would be available for purchase? I’ve been waiting for this exhaust to come out for so quite a while now.
@@Brikksz All good, I would say locally in the next few weeks & no reason why you can’t have it shipped overseas. Reach out to xforce.com.au to enquire. 👌
Local Australian brand called Hussla Zane. Wanted the concave design in an old school 5 spoke shape. These fit the bill & they do them in 18, 19 & 20”. Tyres are Michelin Pilot Sports in a 19”. Unsure of offset but due to the design they look wider than stock but sit in the wheel arch just the same.
@benwoodruff4466 Thanks for the info 👍, I have a white Golf R DSG just like yours. But the upgrades on yours are very tastefully done. So the tire size is still 235 wide or are they wider ?
Looks Awesome! Have a Custom Exhaust: Invidia downpipe on sportcat with a Cobra Sport Nonres Catback on my GTI Clubsport MK7. This combo sounds awesome if one loves deep stuff, i acually havent heard much that beats it. Also was thinking of getting MST intake, shud be good stuff for money! I got the integrated Engineering carbon intake though which looks great! But im gona be honest, ifeel its to much money for an intake, worth maby half in my op, since it dosent give alot of power in itself. But hapy with the install. Did all the installs ourselves.
Too bad these customizable valve systems are illegal in central europe. I just ordered myself the 20th edition tho and i have driven the R20 with the from factory option akrapovic exhaust. It sounds really good for it beeing a from factory option and it has valves opening at about 3000 rpm or 60 km/h+ in race and special mode. Will definitly protect the underfloor tho as this car is gonna be driven in the harsh winters that we sometimes get in Austria. I kinda did the same as you did with the black and white. I just ordered white as the base color and i chose the black estoril stock rims. I will order either from factory or aftermarket black mirror caps and then i will have a nice looking blue R badge on front, side and rear and the rest will be a black / white setup without having to shop for any kind of aftermarket parts :).
Congratulations on your preorder, we’re not going to receive the 20th edition & didn’t offer the Akro as an option due to supply issues. You’ll love it, shame about the legality of the custom exhausts tho, it’s so good as I didn’t want it loud on a cold start but more lively down the road along with no drone on highway. Not many fit the bill but can’t recommend xforce enough. 👌

@@benwoodruff4466 Thx, yeah luckily u have to do things manually to get emotion start which ill probably never use anyway. It is not how it starts default here. Bummer u guys dont get a shot at the R20
@@benwoodruff4466 ok, i think if you dig a hole deep enough you ll end up in my basement !!! I am in quebec, canada. We have harsh winter with much snow. They maintain the roads by snowplowing the excess snow, and spreading abrasives sand or small gravel (not good for paint) and salt when there is ice on the roads. I had this on my 2019 STI. The tubes did not rush, the valves ceased working probably due to rusting of a bolt or pin. Nice car by the way. I have a 2023 20th coming in place of the STI next month. Cheers
@@Bebopin-69 Love this, lol. I must say with the price hike of these I don’t think I could bring myself to drive this in those conditions unless I applied PPF to the whole car. The 20th edition would be great, we’ve only just started getting the regular R in the past 10m & it’s still an 18m wait if you order one new! We’re unlikely to get more the 5, 20th edition in the whole country so securing one is highly unrealistic. 😢 I’ll save the additional cost & put it towards the APR Stage II parts & tune instead. 🥳 I replaced my e85 STI 2016 with this, you won’t be disappointed. 👌
