I've been to therapy before and it was pointless. I've had mental health issues since I was a teenager because of my childhood, and right now I'm in a better place mentally than I've ever been. My mental health slowly improved when I started practicing meditation every day, stuck to an exercise regime (in my case, calisthenics), improved my diet, and made sure I get outside and get some sunlight every day. When you learn how to meditate properly and commit to doing it every day, you start to gain personal insights and more clearly see parts of yourself that were supressed and hidden away.

I've been studying psychology and taking various tests ever since high school looking for something wrong with me. I even tried around 6 months of therapy. I've learned that I'm a very sane intelligent person living in a crazy world and it's quite depressing to me, but I've gotten very good at dealing with depression. I might also be a highly functional autistic which could be my main problem starting relationships. Combine that with what's going on with Western women and it seems hopeless. I haven't even tried to go out with a woman in over 5 years. I think when my parents pass away I'm going to move to Asia permanently, women are very different there. A Thai woman I dated for around 10 years said I was like a rockstar there. 😀 I knew what she was talking about though, I had women buying me gifts and doing things I've never experienced here.

Girls in 20s vs guys 50+ - this is largely cultural. In eg Philippines it's normal. In the US youth & hotness are prioritised so few 20-somethings go for a 50+ normal man. A Chinese-looking young woman age ca 28/30 was hitting on me just last night here in London, I'm 51 and maybe 6/10 looks. She wasn't super glam but she wasn't hideous either.

I've definitely seen women hit 'the wall' and lose most of their sexual attractiveness, usually after illness. Some time between 45-55 is typical. East Asian women tend to go from very attractive to "Chinese grandma" by around 55. But of course many of these women are married & still having sex, that's not the point. Same problems through college and into my early 20's. Wasted some time in a few mediocre 2-3 year relationships. Right now I need to continue working to stabilize my trading career, and letting Jesus soften me into less of an ahole. Maybe I'll find a solution by the time I actually need it.
