This mudrunner sucks, it will crown the angle. The mud is forced out at a higher pressure, it’s compressed by the angle head blades and expands . You can put a 6” knife on angle after it’s dry and see the crown and daylight going into angle. Which was not acceptable on commercial smoothwall. It’s cumbersome also, no one in our company liked them and they were discontinued being used
They are never going to be as fast as skimming with a plain ten inch and a pan but they are good for people that do not know how to skim butts. If you had some be squirting texture on with the spray rig ahead of you you could probably skim a whole house over the texture fairly quick. But otherwise I don't know how you get enough mud on the wall fast enough for the four footer to work. I just purchased all the blades from 16 inch to 4 feet And I'm excited to use them.

The machine is not planex2 what is the point of your comparison if you are going to compare sanders do like for like stop trying to misled people planex 2 is not inferior to any sander on the market the sander you are using is not random orbit people out there don't let this man decieve you by the way frstool invented random orbit way back in time youse correct pad on planex 2 then do your comparison the frstool you are using is ideal for popcorn stripping and please remember before 1986 artex contain asbestos the planex you should have being reviewing has being out on the market 3 years the one you are reviewing is at least 8 years old things have moved on. So to you people who are instrestrd both frstool and mirka make great sanders and for that fool doing the by sanding it is the dust you don't see that harm you make sure you now the difference between a circular motion sander and random orbit the review clearly don't.
FINALLY a good how-to video of how to use an anglehead after rolling the tape. Most videos show the anglebox and that was no help for me. So THANKS for doing this short informative video! Greatly appreciated! :)
You should be prefilling with sheetrock or the like , all seams/ butts/ gaps in corners prior to taping or it wont last . Im a machine taper for 36 yrs so i know what im talking about ! You would be wise to heed my advise as its being given with the best of intensions....cheers mate
