Welcome to Charlie's Autos On this channel, we hope to bring you informative videos in the motor trade whether it be bodywork or mechanical and have a little bit of fun along the way.
The wings just bolt on in the same way as the ones removed, no welding involved and the fog lights area direct replacement, if you did not have fog lights you will need to run some wiring to a switch inside.
@@charliesautos Thank you very much for such a rapid response. I do have the front fog lights. On reflection, now that I know about the wings, I'm thinking I may just replace the front wings on my T6, as I especially like the winker/indicator repeaters with the T6.1 "Transporter" detailing. It's my favourite part of the T6.1 front end. Thank you once again.
Hi and good question, everything is saying it's working, no lights or warning messages and when I get to close to a vehicle it comes up with the pic of 2 cars and an exclamation mark in the middle of them but for the life of me can't activate the active cruise control and as this is my first vehicle with this feature I'm not sure if I'm doing what I'm supposed too which may sound stupid! How do you activate yours?
Loved the video.. but why the annoying unnecessary elevator muzak? I’m hard at hearing & your voice was the same level as the irritating music I couldn’t hear what you were saying 🙁
I’ve just had a go with the trim fix glue you used, sprayed on bothe suade and the roof panel, it’s not sticking? So frustrating did you do it bit by bit? I left it 20seconds to go tacky on both then applied
Hi, you literally unmount it from it's bracket and relocate it, the wiring is long enough to reach so no problems there, you might have to recalibrate it, to be honest that's something I haven't done yet🙄
There are different types, with these I had somewhere to screw into the plastic. However, you might find that they will need bonding in, it really depends on the lights and the kit.
@@charliesautosawesome many thanks If these are a direct swap that means that the lights from THQ are also a direct swap Many thanks for the video As it's to mine knowledge the only video from a facelift t6
Looks brilliant! How far over the other side did you glue down material? I’m trying to use 4 way stretch carpet and concerned about it fitting under the door seals.
That looks really good. I have just removed the cab roof panel from my T4. It took a couple of hours to remove all the old fabric, foam and glue and then remove the residue left behind. I am going to cover it in light grey faux suede 4 way stretch fabric with a 2mm foam backing. Well done on a cracking job.
did you sprayed glue bit by bit or bigger areas do you maybe have email address or some form of contact where I can send you video explaining what went wrong. Thank you @@charliesautos
Hi, this wasn't my vehicle so I didn't need to inform them however I suppose you would just notify them in the same manner you would with any mod, I believe this wouldn't effect your insurance anyhow but always worth checking.
