The Aerosoft GmbH was founded in 1991 next to the airport Paderborn/Lippstadt and developed additional software for the Microsoft Flight Simulator and for trainee pilots in the beginning. Starting in 2002, add-ons for the Microsoft Train Simulator were added to the company’s portfolio. Since 2007, Aerosoft increasingly focuses on publishing highly realistic simulation games. This includes “World of Subways”, “OMSI” and “City Bus Simulator”, among others. The new “Train Simulator” (in Germany) and “X-Plane” were also published by Aerosoft. Aerosoft today belongs to the leading software publishers in the flight simulation genre.

I have Honeycomb Bravo throttle quadrant and the hardware part is very good and nothing can beat it. However, programming autopilot buttons is very difficult and I watched multiple tutorial videos about it but it won't work. It's been more than one year I have Honeycomb Bravo but I couldn't use the autopilot feature for the Honeycomb Bravo. I'd appreciate if Aerosoft makes a better software for programming Honeycomb Bravo.
In the Timespan in which Fenix made an absolute fabulous A320, Pmdg the 737 and 777 which are crafted almost to perfection, IniBuilds an almost ready A350 for MSFS and an A330 for FS2024, Aerosoft managed to make an A330, which is not ready yet, miles away from study level, edgy textures, bad engine spooling and really bad sounds. Can’t wait for the IniBuilds!
I love the plane when it is flying, but its not worth the money right now.... Its a mess at this point. Update just gave it even more silly glitches . First msfs addon I buy outside msfsstore , and I'm not liking that experience either.
Have you guys saw how Fenix have developed they A320? Even the tyres shows deflection with a/c weight. So this minor showcases are not that exciting honestly
It looks very good, but its getting very annoying how they just release videos and don't publish anything or any release date or want to wait until next year to release it
What year are you actually living in??????? Sorry but you need to rework your textures! You've been looking at this product for a long time and it doesn't even look good! I'm a real Simmer, and I can see that they're charging $60-70 for an unfinished product, and half the brainwashed Simmers are going to get this plane! It's unbelievable how our world works these days!
I know it's still in development, but after 2 years of development, it's disappointing to see that we didn't even have any videos from the flight instruments... That can be a surprise as well.
The external textures look very low res - from the tyres to all the rounded surfaces don't look smooth at all. A little disappointing to have waited this long and it looks like a lot is needed to be smoothed out. The engine fans when spinning look very low res and seems that they keep saying about natural details but when compared to the PMDG & Fenix products it is lacking.
Small tip: if you use the thrustmaster target software, and you find that your old scripts for the warhog, no longer work with the new base. Just open up the script file in Notepad++ and replace all instances of &Joystick with &AVA_F16 or &AVA_F18 (depending on which stick you have mounted). Use search Replace in Notepad++ to replace all of them. The worthog base ID is: &Joystick or &JoystickF18 (for F18 stick) The AVA F16 base ID is : &AVA_F16 The AVA F18 Base ID is: &AVA_F18 FYI saves you from having to create new scripts
The AVA base is 1000 times better than the warthog base. Over time the warthog base will wear, the centre dent becomes more noticeable, it develops stiction issues, and if your unlucky the rubber gasket will warp on the plastic ball joint. So if you are buying new. Go for the AVA base with which ever stick you prefer. The warthog base is OLD tech, with its plastic gimbal, it is not worth it. Get The AVA base, its just as good as any of the other bases from VKB, virpil or wingwing. The only caveat is Thrustmaster has sold out on their accessories, so soon after release, which I hope they remedy soon, as I have still not been able to source the Offset adapter. Also, they stated adjustable Dampers, which are nowhere to be found. This is a must, as all other bases have these. So, for all you helo pilots, hopefully they figure out their adjustable dampers for the AVA Base.
I godda admit it, with more than a year delay and watching the first full video, I'm a little disappointed but I hope future videos can redeem the loss of excitement and passion towards this product.
This looks great!! I hope it also comes in "plug and play" style, if it brings the option to fly it as a study level is fine, I mean to be able to fly it as any default one. I hope there are no ridiculous break systems (many of use prefer keyboard and mouse yet) that it banks and taxi correctly following your keyboard command among other keyboard commands, that it has touchdown sound on external view as I fly my planes 99% outside the cockpit. I hope for the best.
Even after two years, Aerosoft hasn't surprised us. Rounded tires, front tires starting to spin even when only the rear tires touch the ground during landing... I hope it can reach the quality of the P3D version. However, it seems like the quality will be much lower. I hope Fenix develops an A330 because I don't want to pay 50-60 Euros for a bad aircraft from Aerosoft.
