I appreciate these 0-coast vids. Thanks. Hard to see what you’re doing, patch-wise, on a phone, without talking, though. Language barrier? Will try on laptop, since you get such interesting sounds!
Questions (esp since I have a 0-Coast and some eurorack and moogerfoogers: are the CV levels or formats compatible? Is eurorack audio level too hot for the moogerfooger?
Can't find the Wired Brain password but answering with my other account: audio level of eurorack is working but with saturation, but saturation from the Moogerfooger does sound pretty nice hahaha.
These mantra videos are really great, giving me lots of ideas even though I don’t own a Serge. Always been a fan of working within the limits of a self contained system. Subbed!
Thank you very much for this video is amazing!!! Are the patches uploaded somewhere? Is there any chance to take a look to the dfam settings? Big love from Mexico City
Thanks ! I guess the price comes from the size, internal patching (glide) and mostly the precision of the pressure output, by far the best I tried so far.
Agree with the original comment: If you know what all the modules are and their function, then it's likely you also know what is happening, thus have no need to learn/gain value from this video. Those less experienced have much to learn/value to gain but without any explanation, other than a finger pointing to things, have no idea what you are doing. So then what is the point?
all on one instrument. truly excellent video, you really explore the whole range of sound design & arrangement possible on this thing, so concisely & musically (to my ears at least). liked & subscribed
I'm trying to figure out patch 10. I can't get it, I went full screen while start and stopping with no success. Its a nice patch, I cant see "Sequence pitch mod" switch, is it off. I cant get VCO 1 and 2 to sound right with each other. I really wish the DFAM had a little better sequencer. Thanks anyways
Hey there, it's mostly a thing of modulating the filter with one of the VCO and sequencing the Noise Level with one row of the sequencer. I think this very simple sequencers are great in their limitations and there's lot to do with those when clocking them externaly with less steady signals ;-)
@@WiredBrain I should have been more clear, its the knobs. I like the sequencer, hell of a lot better than the Mother 32. I wish the knobs were bigger.
