Patch from Scratch #92: The idea of this series of videos is to show the actual patching of modular synthesizers, starting from blank silence to something that can be used in a musical / compositional context.
It will always showcase an improvised patch starting on one conducting idea described by the title.
There is no talking as it is not intended to be a tutorial but an experience of how one could work on those weird instruments that are modular synthesizers.

Excellent content man! I just got the verbos tpk. Crazy fun. Quick question, if you don’t mind. I’m in the middle of a 12u verbos system with a couple modules from other builders to round it out. Was it difficult to get the rogan Buchla knobs on the intellijel and make noise modules? Any makers you have found that these knobs fit especially well, etc.?

Hey there, sorry for the late answer ! No it is easy to make those Rogan to fit on almost any modules. They always fit better on metal shaft than the most used plastic ones but they will fit anyway.

Thanks for the reply, brother! I appreciate it. I’ve got a black greyscale clad maths, a couple “vintage edition” doepfer modules, and a Quadra i was going to throw in there. I think intellijel uses plastic shafts and make noise uses D shafts so I was a bit apprehensive. Also, the doepfers will probably need some tape around the shaft or something since they are 3.5 mm. I just didn’t want to order a bunch of knobs and be completely devastated that they couldn’t be used. Then I would fall into ruin. Utter ruin. Cheers for the advice!
