A great recipe Ive cooked twice but I always blend the sauce with everything still in it instead of straining, I feel that’s wasting all the goodness in there.
Five year old GF flour-not recommended 😂 Think I made some kind of sweet construction adhesive! What a disaster. Trying to cook late at night on a discombobulating windy night, really isn't worth it. Maybe a useful learning experience of a wasted 1.5hrs of my life😂 Why the sugar?? Mine tasted sweet and not cooked enough. Realised I missed the butter step. 😂
Ian, watching this again in 2024, want to thank you for this recipe, made it for my children after school weekly since you posted it 7 years ago. Now they are all grown up but whenever they visit I always make it for them. Thanks to you Katsu curry is one of our family favourites.
If you are looking for quick homemade naan this is your recipe. I took Indian cooking classes as it is my husband's favourite food. I've been making it for years but my naans have never been great. For the first time using this recipe I was excited to serve this naan and it was a pleasure working with the dough. The dough bubbled up like it's supposed to do and my husband loved it. I am very grateful for this video and recipe and will not use any other from now on. It truly is a game changer and the naan is delicious, like really really tasty. Thanks so much for posting.
THIS is the type of video I've been searching for! Everything else is saying like where to get the herbs and leaves from whatever supplier, how to blend, etc., but they never talked about this sort of creation and detail stuff that I've actually been looking for. Great video, very informative!👏👏
Just tried this. Twice or three times the sugar and salt. Used a TAWA on medium-low for 2min 30sec and they are lovely. Used quite a bit of melted butter painted on with a brush. Don't overdo the amount of milk you need. Really work the yoghurt before even thinking of adding milk. You might not need it. very quick and easy recipe. Thank you. Saved about an hour's worth of faffing about. All done including cooking time in about fifteen minutes.
Am I the only one intrigued by the faucet? Is it filtered water? Did the water come boiling hot straight from the faucet? How does it work? Can anyone give me a link where I can learn about it if it's too much to write it out?
What is that little tea thing called that he used to put the leafs in and then add water and then switched to the cup ? Like the mixer for the tea and water idk how to describe it but what is that called ? The cup with the lid
The recipe is in the video, but here it is again, Self Raising flour ( 10 Tbs), baking powder (1 tsp), sugar (1-2 tsp), a dash of salt, yoghurt (3Tbs), black onion seeds if needed to flavour, chopped coriander leaves if needed again, for flavour. Don't forget you need milk to make the dough. There you go, enjoy..!
So just had a whack at this. Very nice but i have some questions. How high do you have the pan ? Do you oil the pan at all? Im thinking of using the oven next time
10:03 Fun fact: older plants don't have deeper roots than younger ones. Saplings develop a taproot that grows downward to help anchor it and provide stability. More mature trees mainly develope horizontal root growth that allows to capture water and nutrients from a larger soil volume.
Hey. Yk I’m addicted to eating raw tea leaves I just crunch raw black tea leaves and I was just looking at some videos to find if anyone else does that. It brought me to this really informative video
