Love the peaceful and comforting atmosphere of ur vids! Defo one of my top 3 fave youtube channels ^_^ I wondered if there was there a particular reason you use a flour-free recipe? Regardless, it looks delicious! :D
Thank you! Im so glad you find my videos peaceful and comforting :) I like having at least one flourless cake recipe in my repertoire just in case I know someone with gluten sensitivity. But also, I like this cake since it has a different texture from other chocolate cakes Im used to: a bit more fudgy, airy and light. Its basically a chocolate soufflé cake! Haha. But I also love chocolate cakes with flour as well! If you want something in between, I would recommend a Gâteau au Chocolate :)
Ohh this is basically a Gateau au chocolat! I used to make this in high school when my house had no food but basic ingredients haha! I do prefer the recipes with a few tbs of flour because it's a bit more cakey, rather than an aerated chocolate slice. ❤ great video glad to see you back!
I almost fell asleep while watching this, not because I was bored, God no, but because it was so peaceful, I only discovered your channel recently, but in a world where most bakers I see treat baking like a picture perfect process, its nice to see someone who takes they're time and isn't in your face about the best way to do something, so thank you Joshua
Thank you! Im so glad you found my channel! I dont consider myself the best baker/cook but I love to share what I bake and draw hehe. So Im glad you were able to pick up on that 😊
I made these today and they came out SO GOOD. My mom ended up eating 4 of them just because they were so delicious. They're like fluffy, buttery clouds with a hint of salt and a slight crunch from the bottom layer due to it being cooked in butter. Will definetly keep that recipe in mind and make it again sometime in the future.
I haven't seen a dairy free recipe, but I have seen plenty of gluten free recipes. I think your best chance would probably be vegetarian Earl gray pie.
I finally made this last week! I made it a london fog rather than early grey but it worked just as well, thanks for the video! It was scrumptious x Also my chocolate split too but it was still good 😂
