Something that just makes me mad at about all the people “discovering” they have curly hair and claiming to have it even when it”,s straight/wavy, is that when I was younger, curly and coily hair was seen as nappy and ugly, and I would get made fun of all the time, especially because my mom never knew how to take care of it. I’m glad my parents never let me straighten it, as rhe heat damage probably would’ve gotten rid of all my curls.

The sad part is I would really love to do this hairstyle. I am mixed so I got like basically that type of hair and my mom won’t let me get like the hair to put in the braids so I can’t like do it because my hair is like super short and it’s gonna look ugly😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
The magic happens before the flat iron. Before you start flat ironing you need to make sure your hair is as straight as possible. And yeah this was a disaster 😢
