Rule #1 for anxious people trying to revert to curly after straightening it - Don’t use a spray bottle…just get yo A$$ in the shower and let it do it’s thing.
I know this probably sounds gross but I use organic honey to revert my hair back curly. I put it all over my hair and let it sit for like 15 minutes then wash my hair & deep condition it. I promise y'all it does the trick !! But there are many other natural products you can use like Aloe vera, and avocados.

I'm white and I have straight hair but honey is used a lot for beauty related stuff ☺️ it's great, I used to apply masks made with honey and yogurt, even though in more recent years I've bought products that work better for my hair type... But still, honey, avocados and stuff are great for hair and skin
Giiiirl you're so lucky lol my roots didn't revert last year but they look better overtime just super frizzy and now I have 2 different curl patterns 🙃

“Heat isn’t the enemy, lack of knowledge is” Girl, heat protectant pops my curls back every wash. And I only wear my hair straight EDIT: I love the amount of natural nazis, thinking they know my hair better than umm ME and my stylist. Thanks for the concern, but I’m here for positive commentary 🤡
@@einasali3382 I use that Fantasia heat protectant serum or spray thats at the drug store.. I don't do the hair chart thing, but I'd say I am 4B coils. Hope that helps
@@yaraabuzeidd no the first time didn’t damage it at all. My stylist dyed it blonde and it was more maintenance like deep conditioning it more but the curls were still good!!!
what will help more is deep conditioning first. so wetting your hair just a little when it’s straight and then adding deep conditioner and you should see your curls come back almost immediately. then shampoo and condition per usual :) hope this helps in the futureee

Literally used heat on my hair EVERY day for 4 years I just started my natural hair journey and I have overall 3A curls with wavy and straight strands I’m feeling you hard right now 😭

That is such a huge difference! As a fellow curly girl I do reccomend curlsmith conditioner with the kareco curl buster brush it does wonder to my hair ❤❤💚💚
Aphogee 2 step protein treatment or olaplex may help y’all. Try doing one of the other every other month for about 6 months. Deep conditioning masks and hot treatments if that doesn’t work just slowly cut it off or big chop if you don’t care about hair like me.
You can do an olaplex treatment multiple times a week/ every wash day. You don’t have to wait every other month with olaplex, it’s not a protein treatment.

My sister convinced me that my hair isn’t straight after me complaining that my hair no longer can be fully straightened (like the temp i used wasn’t as effective anymore) - while chunks in the back would look like ramen noodles 🤣 and wouldn’t go straight at the root. She was right ☠️ but I miss the ease of hot tools.. I kind of hate curly upkeep. If she would have told me I’d be investing in new tools, products and entire ways of washing/drying I’d still be doing hot tools 🤪

It's never about the heat, it's about the products, love!!! There's no great products out there that will penetrate your hair strands and bring your curl pattern back 🤗
@@maryperry6573 I did use heat protectant but did it myself. The thing is I didn’t have to go over my hair a million times in one day, I did it over the course of 2-3 days so I straightened it was straight but big and poofy, so the next day put more heat protectant on and straightened, the back was still a little poofy so, the next day heat protectant and finished off the back and didn’t wash my hair for like a week and a half. Obviously I took showers with a shower cap on I still brushed my hair every day and all but that was weird when I took my hair down and showered and it was still straight for the first like 5 minutes lol

Uh oh…I get my hair straightened every other week and every other 2 months I get braids. My hair curl pattern is still intact so..the girl who did your hair did it wrong (not shading her) because my hair is bone straight when I get it done and obviously it’s not damaged
No she didn't do it wrong the girl in this video should've got in the shower and drenched her hair with water and conditioner instead of trying to use a spray bottle and it would've reverted quicker
Her being scared about her hair not going back to curly is the least of her problems because I haven’t been able to get my hair back to curly for my life and losing all hope lol
For most of my life I didn't like my thick curly hair, so always had a short hairstyle. A few years ago I had chemotherapy and when my hair grew back my curls had disappeared ☹😱. I do wish that I had my curls back because now I absolutely hate the straight hair😢. In reality, I did love my short curly hairstyle and now I have to spend time curling my hair which is a pain in the butt
The leave in conditioner is an amazing product and I used it for years, but then I started to noticed my hair didn't have the bounce it use to. I had did a lot of research and come to find out that product is packed with protein. I had a protein overload in my hair for the first time ever and didn't even know what that even meant. I switched up products to get my hair back bouncy. It's still a good product though. All hair is different and it may not do yours like that, but just wanted to let you know. :)
for people with curly hair you can’t just run ur hands through it to try to make it back curly you have to lightly crunch it then put some conditioner on it.
I blow out with comb and hair dryer on medium or low heat than cool and if you still mess up your curly hair pray and start chopping sis. Also use natural vitamins for hair grow and 100% olive oil/ caster oil work to moisturizer hair 👍🏾👾👾👾👾
