Vaping to me is more than a hobby. Vaping is a journey to a better life, one without a slow death caused by cigarettes.
We must fight to protect our rights to purchase and use these life saving vaping products, not only for us, but for the smoker who one day might want to give up his or her habit.
Vaping is a lifestyle, and we are prepared to fight for it.
Great vid, unfortunately 6 years later the devices that were made to do exactly this and only this are dookey. The male 510s on them have the positive pin flush with the negative, so it defeats the purpose of their existence since you can't put a hybrid mech on one. Or worse one input only tests voltage and the other resistance, and they are too close together to get atty + mod on there at the same time. I'm still not clear on how to determine post polarity unless I can actually see an insulator or something, or what happens if I get that backwards with the probes. Really wanted to avoid springing for a decent multimeter but it's looking like a necessary evil. That part of the budget could easily cover a really, really nice RDA. Lol I was inspired until my Home Depot spending was cutting into my dab funds, most expensive DIY in history and now I'm hitting some nasty hemp BHO. If I give up now I will have dabbed lots of boof for no reason.
It's copper plate that was cut to size to fit in the athena. I don't remember the dimensions; I will go measure the plate and I will get back to you. I bought it at Lowe's hardware store in the hobby section. Best of luck on getting yours fixed up!
I get it, that is easier to accomplish, but that modification only increases the contact surface a little bit. The idea with this modification is to get the best flow of current I possibly could, and to achieve that you would ideally want two large and flat surfaces that mate up with each other well. I just wanted the best hit, with the least amount of voltage drop possible, and I'm *very* happy with the results. Have a good day brother!
Hey bro you have any issues with firing my athena rda went to shit randomly it wont fire on the mod but all my other rdas sill still fire on the device. I'm thinking its the rda and not the device
Gunnar Alden I don't have the Athena RDA, but if other RDAs are working then it is definitely a problem with the dripper. There's a very small chance that for whatever reason the attys 510 isn't making connection with the mod. Just out of curiosity, have you checked the resistance on an ohm meter to see if there was a short or anything else?
Franken Peter hey bro this was my very first video, also if you are trying to imply that I'm underage, I'm not. I'm 24. Don't know if you have any other criticisms but I would be happy to respond to them for you. Have a great day!
joseph fiorini I have never taken a measurement from a pulse, but I've heard many people complain about it's voltage drop which is why I never bought one. one thing that's important to note is that the pulse has a lot of excess contact points, and the more contact points there are in a mech, the greater the chance of voltage drop occurring. Thanks for the sub brother I just got a new phone and will be putting up some new videos soon centered around all things vaping!
Is this the wasp nano rda and did you heat treated the deck? Looks like because of the colors. I just watched some of your videos and enjoyed it! Keep it up! Greetings from Germany Munich!
Hey Michael! Yes it's a Wasp Nano Resin Edition, they all come with heat treated SS decks and gold plated "posts". Glad you enjoyed my videos man, and thank you for subbing. Greetings from Seattle, Washington!
Thanks for help. I've had issue with sparks and not being able to fire but fixed it with a bit of bending and using sandpaper. Maybe I'll flat that round part one day also but cba right now. For some reason it's hard to find this video so maybe add 'issue'/'problem' or something like that into the video name. Stay safe!
Hey man good vid helped me out a ton bro. I was so pissed that i couldnt clean my shit thoroughly an this did the trick. As for the socket thing an the curved needle nose pliers. A allen wrench works wonders in place of the pliers🤙🏼 good vid man thanks for doing it👊🏼
Thanks, I just got one and though I am very happy with it, I can definetely see some arching. And I wouldn't mind a bit more nerve either! Well done and well explained. Yeah, keep them videos coming
Merry Christmas to you and your family mate. Keep the videos coming. Maybe in a week try do a run down on your new mod throw afew build in and let us know what you think works best in it 👍🤙
Damian Te Amo I just put up a short video to show my first tri-core fused clapton. Now that I have it wicked I'm absolutely *loving* it! It's a .16 build at room temp, and with a VTC5A it's great! Definitely the hottest, and best performing build I've ran in it so far. I will definitely do some more in depth videos on this and some of my other stuff, and I will have someone else shooting the video so I will have both hands free! And it will be in panoramic 😂 Happy new year! 🎆🎇🎉
You're a little nervous off the bat but it's understandable for a first video. I can tell you're inspired by our favorite reviewers because you're doing your own version of their good work. Showing us would be buyers our way around a potential device. Keep it up if it's what you like doing and you might get a sponsor one day too.
