EDIT: When I say "you will need toilet paper and a soft rag to polish it." I was trying to say "you will need *toothpaste and a soft rag to polish it." -it was probably because I had toilet paper over my pliers 🤔
Hey everybody! In my first video i showed you that the positive nut on the 510 of the Athena can be removed. I decided to come up with a modification that increased the performance of this mod a *lot*. It's really odd that GeekVape didn't flatten the positive of the 510 themselves. It would've taken an extremely small amount of time for their machines to do this but instead they leave it up to the customer to make it right.
👎 for you GeekVape.
Regardless, it is performing great now! I'm quite happy with the modification, and it was dead simple. The idea is to increase the surface area of the switch contacts by flattening them, and then replacing the fire bar with one cut from a sheet of solid copper (.025mm thick, cut a 16mm wide strip, that's at least 100mm long.) to match the Athena.
Stay tuned because I'm working on modifying another one of my squonkers right now and will be presenting that once I order and receive a MM BF 510.
-Thanks for watching! Vape safe, stay safe, and above all else: HAVE FUN!
