Seems I forgot to add it on the description. Give a shot this guy's mods ermaccer.github.io in this case, MK11Hook is a tool that can do a lot, I love to use it for character swaps on story modes
Not for now... I don't think the guys are going to add that tbh, but hey, it's somewhat possible. Maybe if you really want to use alt skins, you can replace them with the default skin in the game files, don't remember how but its probably in the SD card files (also applies for emulator but I believe it's harder to do so)
@@kavenewell72 well I’m pretty sure I remember that Mario picture being on a GameStop window but I could be mistaking it and just think it looks similar lol
All levels with doors seem to work for me excpet the great maze and the second research facility, the game crashes right before the fight between the two possesed samus armors and the great maze crashes on entry from all four parts of the stage select. Do these levels work for you?
Nope, I'm not sure why the second Reserach Facility crashes, but I know that the Great Maze isn't compatible yet. I'm fact, any of the single player modes, items and final smashes are low priority for the devs of the mod, so we have to wait...
@@kavenewell72 Thanks for checking anyway, I mainly wanted the great maze as a shortcut to Tabuu but it's still technically at the end of boss rush so not a big deal. Shame about the research facility 2, since it was one of my favourite levels, must have something to do with Samus since it always crashes before that clone fight, but I don't know how to open the game and change something like that, but I might try to learn it soon.
@@chickenbear9499 No problemo, also... I'd suggest to join the Diacord server, it's great to check into any updates, matches on dolphin and there's a lot of support if you experience any issues
@@kavenewell72 Hey, I don't know if you're still interested, but by editing the sd.raw file and deleting the file "FitSamusFake.pac", the level runs like normal, which is weird, just thought I'd mention it in case you were interested,
How do you get this to work on the Wii? I downloaded the Remix files and put them onto my properly formatted SD card, but the Homebrew channel shows nothing in the menu when I boot Homebrew.
You might format the SD card to Fat 32. I encourage to follow up their Diacord, they're really nice, and they have guides relates to any platform you want to use. I'd suggest looking for videos on RU-vid, and if formating the thing into fat 32 does not work, it's because of the SD card. Never use SD cards above 32GB, belive me, they don't work at the moment for Project M. Hope this was helpful.
@@kavenewell72 Thanks! I actually managed to figure out how to fix it. When you download the whole file you have to unload all the contents from the folder into the SD card instead of keeping it in the folder. Then you have to delete two boot files that come with it if you're not using USB loader or dolphin. I'm using the traditional SD card and disc combo. Works pretty okay although I've crashed twice since trying. Hopefully the guys behind this project manage to iron out the Wii's kinks in the near future and we can have fun on the TV and emulator LOL.
That might be a problem related to the SD card, system region, etc. What's your SD card size? I'd suggest looking for the Diacord of Remix, they may have any solution if any of the tutorials you followed up didn't work
Hi, sadly... Wii Mote + Nunchuk it's not supported to open the debug menu, you have to use GameCube controllers. Luckly, you can use the GameCube controller adapter for Wii U and Switch on Wii in case you don't have GameCube ports on your Wii model.
hello I have some questions 1.- What do you recommend to use USB or original disk? 2.-Sometimes the Game Freezes when I want to use Bowser the game crashes 3.- Can you explain to me what errors it has? Thank you and sorry if I bothered you True, I already have the mod installed on my SD
@@repoker3445 Hi, ok lets see... Technically, there is no major difference by using a disc or USB, but there are some minor ones, like loading times, I personally go on USB just to preserve my og disc. The Bowser thing, it's pretty strange... I have to test it out by myself to see what would be the cause, probably it has problems since I haven't tried the characters from the original roster but also depends on the game modes and more. Now, about errors and problems, since Project M it's a huge modification in general, there were many problems with the passage of years and builds, but right now I haven't found any problems on battles, maybe some stages have a bit of lag but any crashes yet. As I mentioned in the description, there are some characters that have problems on SE and on real hardware, it's pretty normal to play things that work on Dolphin but doesn't work on Wii, I'm pretty sure this is because of missing files, misplaced files or just how optimized are some of the custom stuff like models and all of that stuff. I had problems with some characters on game modes like Classic Mode and I believe it's for the same reason, if you join the Discord server of PMEX REMIX you will find a lot comments on things like that, but it's normal since they have their priorities, so maybe in the future they will polish some aspects of the build itself. So that's pretty much it, if you have more questions, I'll try to help, but sure I recommend to join their Discord server since there's more people that can support anyone.
Yup, sadly this only works with a GameCube controller. Also the Wii version still has a couple of errors in general, but this is my favorite Brawl mod already and it's probably the most clean build I've ever played for the Wii XD
Hello one question. How did you make it to play on Wii because Ami can't play it. Look I'll explain to you they tell me that Remix Project can be played on USB or also on the original disc. in these Moments I load the original disk Install the Mod but Once I enter the program the Window to Open the Application does not appear, could you explain to me how you did it, you would help me a lot. Thank you
Hello, first of all... Technically, you can play it by using USB Loader GX or CFG USB Loader, it's not that hard. I won't do a tutorial about it, there are many on RU-vid, I suggest you check them out. If the barrier of language is a problem, just try to follow up the steps provided for any user. However, I'll try to explain how to achieve this. You basically need a USB and a 32 GB SD card. It's mandatory to have both if you want to play them through USB without many complications, or just using an SD card. For Brawl mods, the maximum you can aspire it's 32 GB. If you want to use the disc, there has to be an app under the folder "app" on the SD card, and that method it's deffenetly the easiest, since you just have to load the app with all the contents of the mod on the SD card. Not sure if you have an SD card, but seriously... it makes everything way easier, as far as I know, there's no way to do it if you want to make it using only USB or SD only if you want to load a wbfs or ISO of Brawl. Hope that helps someway. P.S. Also you need all of the mod's files in order to work, in their respective folders inside the SD card.
aaaa now I understand the Mod for now is not for Original Disk but for USB I already said because the app does not appear to Start the Game I did what you told me and in the mod folders in Codes It was all empty. I did the same as the Tutorial and it worked for me. Thanks really for the explanation :D
@@cristianxloquendo2246 Sure, glad that worked now. But for real, as far as I know there's an app, maybe if you want to use the disc you may mix different methods, since this build works like Project +. Anyways, pretty happy you can play now, dude!!!
Hello, this is actually a pretty easy process, I'll make a video abou it later, but you have to use the debug menu, and switch characters before entering a door or stage on SSE. Hope that helps, dood! P.S. Not before entering a level, just when the level is about to change to a different stage or section.
@@Alex-eu6rw It really depends on the build you're playing. It's kinda hard to explain, but builds based on Project M EX, Project + and Project + EX are way easier because of the debug menu, thing that wasn't present on Legacy XP based ones or Project M 3.6.
A ROM hack needs a ROM, a SEGA Dreamcast disk is not a ROM! Read only memory is chip based. Game hack or software hack is the correct wording. It's not a ROM.
