Exploring abandoned mines, prospecting, and gold hunting in the deserts of Arizona. We're glad to have you as Period Six moves into the world of production lode gold mining.
Could you post all sizes eg pipe used, total length of bottom bucket to top bucket, mesh size, full length of middle shaft ,and any other sizes you may need, thanks Dudley , Queensland, Australia
I found heavy rocks. Looks very similar to these. I kept them because I just like rocks. After tons of research I'm pretty certain I found a bunch of gold ore rocks. This is turning into a gold prospect.
All of that material looks just like what's in my area of Georgia from old mines that were active about the same time periods..... what state are you in?
Curious to know what you did with the liquid did you filter it if you strain it did you pass it through any collection process or did you just discard it?
What was the sample of Ore you showed in the beginning? I have. Chunk of something but I have not found any one to identify it and finally here comes a l literally @1:22 long video and n first 3 seconds I drop my phone trying to pick it up out of excitement. Please Sir. What is that you were holding? Or better if you find the time. I don't suppose you could look at the sample that I have in question uploaded to my change. "Is This Rock From Outer Space Or Earth" I appreciate you for any help and your time Sir. Thank you kindly now. Have a good one✌️
Incredible. There is a lot more mines past the main metal structure. I've wanted to go to this place for 14 years. I've never owned a vehicle that was capable of getting back there always exotics and such
I qualified as a mining engineer, and some spent time on ERPM (now closed) near Johannesburg. Wikipedia still lists it as the 4th deepest mine at 2.228 mi.. I'm long out of the mining industry, so going over the terms is nostalgic. Except for the mines around Barberton, all South African gold mines exploit sedimentary/metamorphic silica conglomerate reefs which contain the gold. The deep level mining presents its own challenges. The South African plateau has a low geothermal gradient, but even so, the rock temperatures at depth are well above body temperature, so refrigerated air must be channeled to the stopes to create a survivable working environment. Despite the fact that the hard rock makes the mining a labour intensive drill & blast operation, refrigeration, not labour was (an still is) the single biggest working cost in South African Gold mines.
A close friend of mine found a 14 1/2 oz. nugget on a bench above Galice, Oregon. The Armstrong nugget weighed more than 8 pounds and was found above Susanville, Oregon. and can be seen in the national bank in Baker, Oregon.
You guys always forget the Bonanza creek nugget from Whitney, Oregon. It was found in the late 1800's and weighed 264 pounds. It was reported in the Baker City newspaper.
This will help you in regards to the banding I.d. on these pieces of ore. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AtMq32cXb5s.html Very helpful… Especially pt. 2.
You have some great samples I think you'll be helpful for the people that don't know if you can point out with the sharp object exactly what you're talking about as far as what kind of minerals that are in there I think that would be helpful thank you
Same thing up north . The ore is weird stuff Isn't it? I mean you can break a chunk off the quartz vein and it's nice and white on the inside but almost overnight it oxidizes right back to that same color.
@@theejammytv5724 zi gyess it would depend on the price as to weather or not I need some. I have stage 4 cancer so I can't get out and hunt any more. And trying to keep up with the medical bills keeps money tight.
I hope you’ve picked up a windscreen for your mic by now. I’m really interested in what you’re saying but it’s like listening to nails on a chalkboard every time the wind gusts.
