Here's the first challenge we face in the Goodyear, moving a caved in portion of the mine near the portal so that we can get equipment inside for further exploration.
We have four properties under claim with about, hell, 12 mines I think without thinking about it too much. Only one has a map of any kind that we've ever been able to dig up. We have reports on approximate depths on several others but nothing else.
Rotary hammers and Sierra Blaster for the larger pieces to knock them down to handling size. Wheelbarrow to dump into the 29'er drift. We've still got weeks of work to do on opening the portal which is completely filled in. It's a very tight fit getting into and out of right now. In a perfect world we'd manhandle a mucker in there piece by piece and use that to clear the collapse.
Considering all of the partners are on the wrong side of 40, a mucker like a 12B in on our horizon for sure. At the outset our plan was to use this mine to finance the purchase of all the equipment we'd need for the next mine we open up once we go full time, i.e. genset, air compressor(s), crushers, ball/rod mill, leach equipment, small Merrill-Crowe system, core drill, etc.
