Man u did awesome work! I’m getting ready to re-paint my Suzuki TL1000s. This video really helped me out. I’ve painted a vehicle before but I need fairing repairs like u did. Thanks again! Ur paint was just deadly!
Im currently in the middle of a custom paint job im doing on my 18 gixxer thousand to honor my father who recently passed away unexpectedly and the first car i ever worked on being a 69 Plymouth Roadrunner he picked up with just under 3k original miles, all numbers matching car. I started getting my education with it being w full restoration from my father at the age of 5 35 years ago that got me hooked on this type of work. I want to paint the bike the same colors. He did it midnight blue pearl metallic with gold accents on the louvers of the hood, the factory wheels and very small subtle items as to not over power the deep blue that went to the darkest purple almost black at the right angles that to this day i have ever seen and it was painted at its completion in 1990. After seeing this video, im curious if i can make that dark blue/purple do what the red does on this bike in the video, but have the underlayer you used black on be gold and have it show through somehow to give it a gold marble look under the blue. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated and i thank you for your time in advance. I must say, hands down, Outstanding work, the detail and care you took with this project has truly inspired me and now driven me to strive to take my project to a whole nother level beyond this world instead of what i was originally planning on with color matching my panels with the blue and doing some subtle line work with gold metalflake. I want to honor his memory with my absolute best work possible and i want it to he something no one has ever seen.
I remembered this video from seeing it years ago. Y'all did an amazing job on that bike. I am going to use this technique on a guitar I am about to build.
I can’t stand the finger tips on it. I keep trying but my fingertips are on it no matter how light I touch it. I’m trying again but I’m going to ball up some Saran Wrap and use that instead of my fingertips to lay down the Saran. Wish me luck!
10:45…..bruh… you literally went over the best effect you got outta all that finger slapping… then you spray over it to put more finger slap marks?? Lol 🤔🫠
I wanted to buy a Tao Tao ATM 50 moped from Amazon that cost 700$ can I mount a back up camera to that specific bike I don’t know because it might not work if my moped doesn’t have a reverse gear to activate the camera but yes you’re motorcycle is awesome
@@bigbandit007 yeah I grabs a couple of the air filters you have in your video from menards. I'm getting ready to paint my bike exactly how you did the marble one, except I'm going green for candy instead of red. I'll have to wait until it's cool enough outside or use a AC. I don't have good lighting to do it at night time
Oh wow! I actually pick this color myself as well, and because I love lowriders I'll throw in some graphics too. I got my bike Disassembled at the moment getting ready to scruff it down and primer it in a couple Days
